Driveable as in still drive around the city without the engine blowing up or parts breaking down.
I wouldn’t even know what’s a “safe” horsepower rating for the ITS and still be able to drive my children around. Which is I’ll likely never tune it. Some bolt ons perhaps but I want the ITS to...
Not much of a tuner, but I’ve read here and there the civic type R folks push their FK8 to 400-600HP. It’s also a front wheel drive car, how are they making their vehicles driveable?
The digital gauge is just software and UI graphics that is calibrated for the ITS. One could certainly update the graphics and upload it to our ITS. So yes it’s possible. Will we get it for free? Highly unlikely. Gotta pay or we’ll see it in the refreshed models 2-3 years from now
unexpectedly I’ve drawn a lot of attention from a wide range of people. Even had random strangers pull over and take pictures. I got the car just because I personally like it not thinking it would draw attention
Did they box up the stock oem accessories for you upon delivery? I asked the sales guy and he was unsure besides the extra set of rims and said he’d get back to me
correct me if I’m wrong, these extended warranties are never worth it? There are so many things they don’t cover which are the items that normally break first. The items that are covered usually last much longer. On top of that there are so many ways people end up voiding warranties
Championship white would be nice though I wonder how it would compare to platinum white with the flakes. Phoenix yellow could be interesting
all the interior options you mentioned would be nice. Although all of this would be for those that haven’t gotten an ITS yet
nice chart, 255 would be ideal going for more narrow tires for snow performance. Anything beyond 255/35 would change overall diameter. But I guess going down to 18” wheels people are having issues finding +60mm offset and maintaining overall diameter. 275 would be wider which would mean harder...
Looks like 255 is the narrowest tire width we can use with the stock rim 9.5” width. I’m surprised you didn’t have them install them so you can check the clearance height and see if there’s any rubbing issues. A/S should do quite alright for Virginia. You really only need winter tires for states...
Ah, well if it’s a second car then there’s depends on your needs. One sports car makes the most sense financially for me as it took a lot for the wifey to be okay with it. If I got a second car it’d be a large winter car or a truck. Kids and carrying stuff around :)
I’d gladly take any winter 265/35/19 tires if it does not rub against the car or fenders.
now would there be any safety issues running 275 or 255? Everyone suggested running 18’s but I don’t want to spend on third set of wheels while the OEM ones sit there when they look great. But I want...
If it’s the ITS you want, then wait to get it, because spending on a different car while looking back on the ITS wishing you had it isn’t worth it. For me there’s zero cars out there besides the ITS and I have zero regrets getting it
Well, I’m stuck with both the 19” copper wheels and “19 shark gray wheels. Since that’s the most they would do selling for MSRP. I can’t find a compatible winter tire for the oem wheels for Colorado winters. Any suggestions?
