Well for those who care and looking at Type S, Subaru has just killed off the WRX Sti for the foreseeable future. They are looking at ways to make the Sti again but will have some sort of electrification. It is Skipping this generation of WRX.

Acura usually doesn’t call it “alcantara” but it’s very similar to it in terms of touch and feel.

I think we will hear Type S once CTR goes on sale which is slated for Summer time. I expect Type S reveal in September

I think this is the first time Acura has offered microsuede on a seat from top to bottom so unsure how it will last but if we look at current CTR’s they look to be really good over time. Luckily the steering wheel isn’t Suede which I’m sure most will be happy about.

Okay good to hear and know. I also noticed in one of the video under the hood looks to have a strut bracing or it could just be the cowl.

Yes this is the base as you can see it has the 17 inch rims, chrome around the greenhouse, no fog lights.

Just found out a cool detail. All 2023 MY of Acura’s will be getting 2 Years/24,000 mile maintenance included. This included: Engine Oil Tire Rotation Multi-Point inspection. That’s a pretty good deal that should of been added to 2022 MY.

Actually listen to this. Regular RDX A-Spec can get Blue with Red interior but A-Spec Advance can’t

Currently, Acura started to eliminate the mix of Apex Blue and Red interior for models. It began with the RDX facelift and now the Integra. Both MDX and TLX still have it for now but could change once MMC comes for both those models.

Nope and I don’t think based on the leaked color spec you can get one.

Agreed on the White getting dirty faster that’s why I opted out of the Apex Blue even though I like that color.

If we look at the other Type S models in Acura’s lineup, only real added color to Type S over base is the Tiger Eye Pearl. This is my sister-in-law’s MDX A-Spec with the same Liquid Carbon. So when sunlight hits the paint you can see that the shadow goes darker on the paint but notice how the paint has a brown hue to it. It looks astonishing in person

Liquid Carbon with Red A-Spec Tech. I choose that over the Apex Blue with White because I feared the White would get too dirty especially since it’s ultra suede.

I was going for Type S but lease is up right when these hit dealership lots.
