Well for those who care and looking at Type S, Subaru has just killed off the WRX Sti for the foreseeable future. They are looking at ways to make the Sti again but will have some sort of electrification. It is Skipping this generation of WRX.
I think this is the first time Acura has offered microsuede on a seat from top to bottom so unsure how it will last but if we look at current CTR’s they look to be really good over time. Luckily the steering wheel isn’t Suede which I’m sure most will be happy about.
Just found out a cool detail. All 2023 MY of Acura’s will be getting 2 Years/24,000 mile maintenance included. This included:
Engine Oil
Tire Rotation
Multi-Point inspection.
That’s a pretty good deal that should of been added to 2022 MY.
Currently, Acura started to eliminate the mix of Apex Blue and Red interior for models. It began with the RDX facelift and now the Integra. Both MDX and TLX still have it for now but could change once MMC comes for both those models.
If we look at the other Type S models in Acura’s lineup, only real added color to Type S over base is the Tiger Eye Pearl. I suspect it’s because the plant they build it in only has the colors the regular Integra and all other Acura’s get. Now as some might remember the Long Beach Blue color. It...
This is my sister-in-law’s MDX A-Spec with the same Liquid Carbon. So when sunlight hits the paint you can see that the shadow goes darker on the paint but notice how the paint has a brown hue to it. It looks astonishing in person
Liquid Carbon with Red A-Spec Tech. I choose that over the Apex Blue with White because I feared the White would get too dirty especially since it’s ultra suede.
