The stock intercooler is like 400 cubic inches. That’s literally enough to cool down 400-430 whp Easily if you don’t track and only hit the occasional canyon road every blue moon. If tracking, I wouldn’t take the car beyond 350-360whp on the stock intercooler.
im totally with you. If you’re not...
Still breaking it in. Has less than 90 miles so far. But I wanted to hear those pops and bangs so bad. So I put her in sport plus and rev’d to about 3k rpm ?
my inner child was pleased.

paid msrp but had 996$ in accessories shoved down my throat
however, it was stuff I was gonna get anyways. The rubber mats, rear hatch mat and tints
I’m sure I could’ve saved 2-300$ if I would’ve purchased online and went to my usual tint guy but it was what it was
If it’s not a boxer 4 or a v4 best you can hope for is “good”
great on a turbo inline 4 isn’t easy.
I’ve heard i4’s with megaphones and they sound great. But those motors are aided by nice flowing heads, decent headers and liter bike cams at high rpm have a nice thump trill
if you do swap in...
Been a while since I saw someone take “bolt ons only” so far. Grats on the previous numbers. Really curious to see what you’re putting down with a premium pump tune
