  1. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

If the Acura RL used the same lug nuts the SD Ford trucks did, then yes. The washer portion appears independent of the nut. I ordered a set of 5 and will confirm later this week when they arrive.
  2. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

I got a lug nut option, some 2003-2009 (may be more years) F-250 Super Duty trucks used a flanged flat face lug nut m14 x 1.5 thread. It has grip material on the flat side also, this is what I am going to purchase for my spare wheel.
  3. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

That is That is correct, this is why we have to drill the holes bigger which removes the conical face that is there.
  4. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

Jam nut is the way to go, I forgot you mentioned that. There are different types of flange nuts, most common have a serration. I have also seen some with 2 crushed sides, you def do not want to use that style as it will mar the studs and give false torque readings.
  5. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

Oh I agree, this is better than loosing trunk space.
  6. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

I am waiting patiently also for someone to offer this wheel with conical or radius (Honda factory) machined lug nut holes then we would be able to use off the shelf lug nuts. Otherwise you need to go the flat lugnut route which I am a bit uncomfortable with myself as it should include a lock...
  7. Rear seat swap between A-Spec and Type-S?

I am looking at doing this swap. With a black interior ITS backseat, I will be giving up the red stitch. This seems like a small price to pay to have the middle arm wrest. I am not sure I would ever use the middle seat. I will weigh the seat difference as I am curious to know how much weight...

I've installed the mud guards, they look good. Not the most perfect fit it is Honda quality, just expecting something slightly better for Acura. Last week I installed the Overland Designs covered shift bezel, looks way better than the piano black bezel. I shipped it Easter weekend, they got it...
  9. Opinion and slightly modded Type-S Thread

Yesterday I installed the OEM rear cargo fishnet storage along the back panel. Installation was easy, the only part I did not enjoy was drilling holes into the panel. I ended up step drilling the holes to 3/8" diameter. The instructions called for 12mm (1/2") but I decided not to go that far...

BTW The 2018-2022 Accord mirror may be "plug in play" but you still need to splice the yellow wire to red.
  11. Opinion and slightly modded Type-S Thread

It is not plug and play. You need to split both mirrors apart to swap over the stalk from your integra to the Accord mirror then re-assemble. While you have it apart you can easily splice the yellow wire to the red, or if you wanted the mirror to be like factory you could run a wire to tap into...

I turned off rev matching, glad I did but totally understand if you are new to manual transmissions it would be helpful. The driving modes are interesting, I am finding I either want sport+ or comfort modes. In individual mode I have everything in sport+ mode except handling, I put that in...
  13. Front Windshield Sun Visor tint kit?

Does anyone make a front windshield sun visor tint kit? This would be a tint that starts at about 5-7" from the top and then fades to near solid as it approaches the top of the windshield. Older car windshields used to come with this from the factory but I see new cars do not do this. I found...
  14. Alternative mud guards? vs OEM?

Are there any alternative mud guards available in the aftermarket? If so, how do they look vs the OEM option? After a few drives I have determined that I definitely need them, these summer tires kick up everything they roll over. I will most likely buy the OEM ones but if something looks...
  15. Clutch impressions?

The ITS clutch is absolutely perfect in my opinion. 1996 Saturn SL - heavier than the 2000 Civic EX, ergonomics ok 2000 Trans Am with 70k+ miles: heavy but not bad, pickup near the top of the pedal, ergonomically perfect 2000 Civic Ex - felt normal (daily driver type quality to it), a lot of...
  16. Opinion and slightly modded Type-S Thread

@Blek le Roc Thanks! I don't know how to do that yet, one of these days I will read the manual and snoop through the menus. I figured I would give it a month before I turn it off as I have read that others end up liking it after they get used to it. I can see the advantage when racing, but I am...

First modification completed within 1 week of ownership: 2023/24 Accord rear view mirror with Homelink (garage door openers) swapped in. This is definitely something that should have been installed in our cars. This mirror is heavier, perhaps a pound heavier - perhaps that is why we got what we...
  18. Retrofit Honda Civic Dimming Mirror w/ Homelink

New 2023 Accord mirror arrived last night! In less than a couple hours I had it installed. There is really no need for a video other than what was linked previously. Photos are worth a 1,000 words, so here are a couple more. Final disassembly of the non Homelink mirror: Disassembly of the...
  19. Retrofit Honda Civic Dimming Mirror w/ Homelink

I used the butt solder connector, soldered the red/yellow wires, then wrapped the wiring with new fleece tape. Ready for the mirror swap when it arrives tomorrow. For those wonder what the mirror looks like apart:
  20. Retrofit Honda Civic Dimming Mirror w/ Homelink

@Trey I don't know what I would sell you, I am keeping the original harness and mounting bracket, it will only be the mirror and the back casing of the mirror, no stalk/stem/bracket or wire harness.
