I disagree about the getting used to it part. We should still have an expectation of better build quality from a car that's $56k and marketed under a "luxury" brand. It doesn't need to be Lexus-quality but I think it should still be better than a Mazda.

Some people just can't help it. It's too big of a part of their personality. I just block/ignore those types of folks.

Same here and i agree about it being a rebranded covercraft. I've had Covercraft branded ones on my other cars and it's the same. Only went with the Acura one this time because it was oddly cheaper. Go figure.
