Honestly for like $300, I would get in touch with them and see if something can be done about this. It is clear that they are meant to touch your diffuser. I think they got their measurements off on this piece. I think they are making them to order so someone messed up over there

@Baozzer when youordered the fitcamx, did you opt to get the rear camera as well? If so, how did you go about routing it to the rear? Online it shows the rear is powered but the front cam which is awesome but if I pull the trigger on this purchase, I may want to get the rear as well
