This is my brother and I. He had it on MeisterR coilovers and I can say with confidence that the ND put a smile on my face that the FK8 with its more HP and grip didn’t. I found the Clutch/Gearbox both to be incredibly smooth. Coming from my FK8 to his car though I had to be careful about the...
Agree with all this. Lots of dealers not being able to sell their CTR's that are either sitting new with a crazy ADM or got caught holding the bag by buying a used one and tried listing it for 60+ and not selling.
There was a point where I was calling states in the middle of nowhere willing to...
Just spent part of my day putting a reserve on a Boost Blue FL5 with the carbon wing and other random things for 57 OTD. I do not want them replacing the aluminum shift knob though. I still have another on reserve that's white for 55 OTD but comes with nothing.
ITS pricing finally pushed me to...
The clip from the original posters IG story really changed my perspective. Looks nice and beefy when parked normal next to others and not perfectly lit in a showroom
Pardon my ignorance but I'm starting to feel like Acura has to sell ME the car lmao
Same destination fee as the CTR for a car manufactured and shipped from Ohio? They either got to wipe the destination fee and then add TTL or I'm keeping this FL5 when it comes my way.
I live in Las Vegas and went to an Acura dealer with 4 TLX Type S and a couple A Spec Integras plus many regular Integras. He did not like me pointing out how they sit but that was after he told me it'd be 20k over sticker for the ITS. And I was the only customer parked in the lot lol
A base...
Man I feel like I made this post lol but I agree with everything you said.
I also changed the flimsy plastic shifter in my FK8 to a fully adjustable stage 3 Acuity shift kit (https://acuityinstruments.com/products/v2_10th_gen_civic_stage_3_shift_kit). The quality and feel of this thing is...
Have we ever been officially told from Acura news that the ITS would be limited?
I was in the area so I decided to stop by a different Acura dealer who has 3 TLX Type S and 4 Integra A Specs. Called them out on how they sit when he told me it’s 20K over sticker lol and that it won’t even come...
I feel it. Would be my first car I own with heated seats so I want to know what that’s like lol The FK8 seats are great on curvy back roads but I wouldn’t want to go with a brand that’s too aggressive with bolstering. Going to wait and see how the demo car feels.
Thinking about swapping just the driver seat to the FL5’s seat now that the R badge doesn’t stick out so much with the all red. This seems better than going with Bride/Recaro.
Anyone else willing to sacrifice their heated seats for something like this?
Highest number I got was $42.6 for my Type R at Carmax. Most dealers when I was looking for the FL5 were capped at 40/41. I'd just do a quick online appraisal with them and use it against what is hopefully MSRP dealers who may try to lowball you when the time comes.
Dumb question but does that mean they’ll let us drive it? Did regular customers test drive the GR? If none of the sales ppl got to experience the FK8/FL5 before I’d be happy to take them on a quick hot lap in their ITS lol
I don’t think ADM is worth it for this vehicle. The way we see Acura pump out A Spec Integras, TLX Type S and others that just sit on lots in multiple amounts for MSRP is a sign to me that everyone should be able to get their pick. I would try to turn any talk of ADM into accessories you want...
I should’ve mentioned this when I joined but the dealer I’m working with sent me a voicemail stating that they would receive a Type S demo car this month or so. Has anyone been told this as well?
YES that dark of a green would be perfect. I need someone to commit to a wrap for the whole car lol. I've contemplated about wrapping just the body painted front lip on the bumper so the bottom is just all black.
