They did pre-orders for the base Integra too right? I assume for the Type S they'll do pre-orders for the first set, and then start to sell them at dealers shortly after, like they did with the base Integra.
The upsell strategy works especially well with the manual-only. People hear hype about the ITS, go in to check it out, find out its a manual only, and end up leaving with a TLX Type S for a few grand more.
The red cartoon Type S from the Acura ad a few weeks ago has the number 93, so Loni's car could be the red car from that ad (it's 92 but that's pretty close lol).
True, but they showed the production Type R without camo in July, and then did the official unveiling in December. We'll see if Acura does the same. Seeing by how they've already "leaked" the Type S in that ad, maybe there will be a steady stream of teasers till the summer.
