I'm fine paying the $300-400 for tint plus added accessories but like I told the dealer, don't charge me more just to charge me more. Give me value added to pay for the car or I'll just walk away. I don't honestly foresee it being mainstream on the integra at first because I don't think they...
Agree full stop. The phone call left a bad taste in my mouth. I think he was trying to justify why they "might" add an ADM.
The base integra is 100% a Civic EX-L. The integra A spec is the civic touring +
Just passing on what I was told. clearly this dealer didn't have much info to pass...
So it's funny. Another Acura dealer just called me, one I didn't do a reservation with. Sales Person said they don't expect the integra for 4-5 months (saying there are in fact delays). He said they cannot see the reservations until Corporate sends it to them (takes a few days) and that they...
I thought about that option as well. Dropping another deposit isn’t a big deal since it’s refundable. The problem at hand is the deal isn’t done until the car arrives so anything can change during. They could promise MSRP but if it isn’t signed by a manager it isn’t worth anything
On the other...
I'm in all honesty not worried. The dealers have cars they want to sell and until build dates are loaded and they can go in and plug reservation numbers against it, not much they can do. I feel we on the forums get more info than they do, thanks to Tiger! LOL
Porsche is the only brand of car I've owned that allows you to turn it off permanently so this is a welcome addition.
Driving my kids Civic Hatchback this week and I have to keep remembering to push the Auto Stop button off :D :D
You know the folks at the Honda Plant in OH are like "We need a couple weeks off..." LOL When it comes to the Civic it's been gangbusters.... Car of the year, hatchback is in sought after demand and the SI like every generation is getting marked up 5, 10, 20K.
Hopefully that success trickles...
I've been giving thought to the whole pricing scheme Acura might be leaning towards. The base integra is supposed to be around 30K but I know destination is something that we don't really factor in. Since the Civic Touring is around 30,900, I think they'll price the base integra the same...
Speaking strictly from a finance point of view - fed is raising rates this Wednesday. I don't forsee any promo rates for the integra aside from the standard ~2% for 36 mos. No Manufacturer has any incentive to give promos given the market. There are exceptions like Ford and GM (I think Audi as...
I commend you for sticking with the X2. I used to be the BIGGEST BMW stan. My first car was a 1990 325is back in 2000. I've had so many BMW's but over the years they've kinda let me down (moving from 4 to 3 years on the service, no longer able to sell the car and CPO it unless to BMW, etc...) My...
There really isn't much difference between the 18 and 19" if you throw summers on (you get the benefit of the traction)
Honestly, I'm trying to keep the total for the integra under $40K total out the door. That's including taxes and fees.
If the A spec trim really does come in around 35-36K then...
I've been going back and forth on this. I realize the A spec comes with a spoiler lip - but I'm thinking I might want a carbon fiber one (since i ordered a black car lol) aside from that, I'm debating having the dealer put the 19" rims on and swap for summer tires (I live in AZ) and probably the...
Yea it was a limited choice of color combo's this first initial run of integra's. Once the first deliveries happen, there's a dealer list of color choices (interior/exterior) that's floating around showing what will be available.
You should know what your total is before the car is built. Once the build slots are live your dealer should be able to give you an order and I would have it signed by the manager.
In my case, I’m at msrp but I plan some dealer adds like tint as well as steering wheel heating.
