Yea, she's not mean, but the email conversations do lack some politeness thats seems to be a language lost in translation combo. I was told i was 22/23 give or take on the list. I only put my deposit on 6/26, that was mainly due to her taking a week to get back to me. They were never mean but...
I think we have the same sales person (does her name start with an "A"). It's pretty troubling to know if this dealer is in fact pulling any funny stuff, its one thing to be put on a list that has no deposit, but like you they have a $1000 and was a bit wishy washy with me as well. On the...
Was told no deposit list, first come first serve. MSRP no ADM however all the cars will come with around $5K in dealer installed accessories. Then brushed me off when i said i would like to be on the list, and they haven't responded to any emails either.
TBH if i could get a CTR (in champ white) for 5K ADM now, i would jump on it. If i could get a launch car (in California) at MSRP i would be on that too. Congrats to all those who have a ITS. I waited the whole life cycle for a FK8 and not once could I get one at MSRP in California. I...

All cars are compromised in some way (unless it's "The Homer") . Like everyone said, i also don't' believe its ever going to happen, but it shouldn't dissuade one from getting an ITS. I have a S2000 and there are at times i wished i had the optional hardtop, instead of overthinking it, and...
I got on the list for Acura of Pleasanton, just fyi its 22+ now and eta is 2 years, and its only for local residents (east bay area that is) btw. The $1K Acc consists of 3 things (Wheel Locks, Tint, Nitrogen) for those interested.
Acura of Pleasanton - MSRP+ $1k Acc ?
When it comes to cars, its best to manage "expectations". Drive different cars till you find what you want out of a car. (fwd, awd, rwd, I4, V6, V8, etc) Judging by your response, if your baselines is your 350z its comparing apple to oranges. In the end go with your gut, if this car isn't...
