  1. Winter photos

Car cover + Carbag + battery tender = Naples FL until May
  2. New Car!

Congrats. I finally saw a Tiger eye ITS yesterday, the first and only lTS I've seen all winter down here in Naples. I had a deposit on a Mazda 3 hatch manual poly gray w/red interior but my dealer never found one in my spec. I’m glad because I’m happy with the Type S. Can recommend...
  3. Hill Start, Hill stop, E-brake

Not a fan, I learned the old fashioned way of balancing the car using the brakes, clutch, and throttle dance. I was teaching my oldest daughter to drive a manual. I got her a new beetle with a manual transmission. The clutch in the bug was as light as the Integra. We were practicing hill starts...
  4. New owner perspective on the ITS vs your car history

    My thread: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/%E2%80%9824-its-a-long-story%E2%80%A6w-pics.51471/
  5. TuxMats?

I have the tux mats for my ITS and they are very nice. But I’m kinda liking the contrasting red on black of these...
  6. Anyone had the paint issue with the bronze wheels?

I noticed when I swapped over to my Continental DSWs to the stock gun metal Honda Enkeis the bronze was just on the face of the wheel and the barrel faded to a silver gray. For the price they are asking it should be bronze all the way through.
  7. Is it as cool as I think it is?

yeah it’s cool! Itā€˜s a manual transmission sport sedan with a usable rear seat. Yes rear climate control would be nice. Memory seats would also be great for the rare times my wife would drive my car. Oddly she hasn’t driven the ITS yet, maybe all my years of picking on her driving has finally...
  8. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Damn that GruppeM is too pretty to cover with a closed hood. Would installing an intake throw a cel? Coming from the Subaru camp, they did not like a CAI without a Cobb Access Port or some other tune.
  9. ITS into something more practical…?

Arrrg as much as it pains me to recommend another cuv to clog up our roadways, while Miata is always the answer, check out Mazda’s cx vehicles. Their interiors are near luxury level at half the price. Their handling won’t make you hate driving them. We had good luck with our cx-9 signature.
  10. ITS or other performance vehicle?

Mazda 3 hatchback near luxury interior for around $32k.
  11. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

Does the ITS and CTR have a different rack? Are they exempt from this issue? I expect something like this from Ford and my Bronco not Honda.
  12. Diecast 1/18 model?

Like balefire, I too collect mini-meā€˜s of cars I’ve owned. Iā€˜m holding out for a white Type S any scale will do.
  13. The Drive’s Best Performance Car

https://www.thedrive.com/car-reviews/2023-honda-civic-type-r-vs-2024-acura-integra-type-s-review ^ this writer places the ITS just below the CTR. Itā€˜s good to have choices. I’m just glad there are still a few manufacturers offering manuals to drive.
  14. Advice on Integra options vs Civic or ILX for teenager

I think used Integra would be a great car for new driver. A manual transmission all the way. It teaches them car control and requires them to stay involved on how the car is performing for the road ahead. If both hands and feet are busy it’s hard to reach for their cell phones. I bought my...
  15. Hood fitment issues, panel gaps, wheel defect, paint chip, clear coat issue

On my car the worst one for me is the gap for the rear bumper and taillights. Passenger side 3/4ā€ driver side 1/4ā€ Can’t unsee it every time I open the rear hatch. Also the side skirts have a lot of flex. Maybe thats a feature and not a flaw? I know it’s an Acura not a Lexus but
  16. Metal Shavings in hatchback latch area

Yes I still find shavings too. I have the carbon spoiler. Why didn’t Acura design an optional part to fit using the existing holes?
  17. The Drive’s Best Performance Car

https://www.thedrive.com/car-reviews/the-drive-awards-2023-best-performance-car-chevy-corvette-e-ray Runner-Up: Acura Integra Type S, The Sport Compact Chris Rosales "The Integra’s engine is amazing, but the six-speed manual transmission it's paired with is really what makes the vehicle...

I just use a battery tender and not a trickle charger.
