Man that GruppeM intake is gorgeous. The red engine bay accent matching the brake calipers would be a nice touch. I just don't want to be the guinea pig to try it on a De5...
I'm pretty set on Eibach Pro-kit springs, spc rear camber arm, and EVS ball joints up front.
I'm impatient to get this thing lowered, but this 4x4 stance looks kinda cool in motion:
This RS3 was an IROZ build and dyno'd at over 1000hp. It was on a 650hp tune that day...
Wheels/tires on! I ended up just going with RT615K+, 275/35/18. I should be able to get similar mileage out of them and the canyon/track performance will beat the PS4S or ECS02. Plus they were cheaper than PS4S and equivalent to the ECS02. I'm loving the black on silver color scheme. The wheel...
Ok that makes sense.
It seems like the springs rates available for lowering springs are all over the place. Some increase the rear more than the front but some don't. I'm leaning towards the Eibach pro-kit at this point.
@optronix can you remind me which springs you are on?
Interesting, I didn't realize the 19in PS4S were a different compound. Now I'm wondering if I should just jump to a Cup 2.
You feel like springs are a downgrade even with the DSC controller? And have you noticed increased inner tire wear with the camber you are running up front?
IF I was to...
Thanks guys! I'm excited for it
The E46 will go down as one of the all-time great chassis IMO. I'll never sell that one. The De5 has a similar ethos in a lot of ways. The focus on balance and driver engagement puts a smile on my face whenever I hop in either of them. The E46 just requires more...
Hey everyone. I just picked up my lightly used (6.5k mile) 2025 Lunar Silver ITS with black interior. I got lucky finding the exact spec I was looking for used but decently low mileage. This will be my first Honda/Acura. I'm coming from mostly BMWs and sold my F97 X3M to pick up the De5. We no...
So I have a couple questions for you guys. I may need to chat with someone from DSC but I figured other people here might have similar questions and/or be able to answer.
-Does the model allow you to change all of the options for the different modes, or just the damper tuning specifically...
Is anyone using this paired with Swift springs yet?
Are the spring rates close enough to other lowering springs to utilize the same preset damping settings?
