There aren't sensors, just a cable going into the shocks to change the mode. Maybe one of the connectors experienced water intrusion. I'd definitely want to check over each shock to make sure there wasn't physical damage to the harness or connector.

If you can de-pin the broken connector (may have already happened when it broke) you can try to ID the connector type and buy a new body to slide the pins back into. I've had good luck sourcing stuff like that from DigiKey. It may only cost cents for the part but you'll likely spend dollars on...

Interesting, both 1466 and 1468 at my nearby dealer are LCM -- confirms that they do batches in the same paint color like I've heard. I believe I heard they do about 50 at a time with the same paint color.
