Finally got the winter wheels on with the McGard lug nuts. They’re 3/4” like the OEM lug nuts and the good news is that the Acura supplied lug wrench fits in the holes so I don’t have to remember to carry an adapter.

This has happened a couple of times. Both time were on the Mass Pike while traveling to/from Boston or Rhode Island. So far it hasn’t happened locally, so just monitoring it for now. If it starts happening more often then I’ll be giving the dealer a call.

For my Miata I just yank the battery, put it on my work bench, connect the battery tender and come back in the spring to get it. Doesn’t make a difference, I just prefer having the electronics depowered for the winter.
