Another vote for Yeti. For my “morning coffee”, I use a 12oz Yeti with the “commuter” (formerly “hotshot”) lid. It’s perfectly sized for me. My wife’s larger 20oz travel mug annoys me when I shift.
Preemptively Installed the PRL coolant expansion tank. My stocker wasn’t leaking but I know my luck and it would have cracked in February and I’d be out in the driveway changing it when it’s 7 degrees.
While I was fiddling in the engine bay, I also threw in some MDR Industries billet aluminum...
I read a thread on FB recently that said the Infinity wasn’t very loud, but that person didn’t do the inlet tube at the same time…I don’t know why you would do one and not the other, but that might have been why. Others that have commented in the past have said the Infinity (the full system) is...
yep, it’s gloss black. I wanted OEM+…and I knew if I went carbon fiber it’d be an expensive rabbit hole.
Finish seems fine. I inspected it in my dining room right after removing it from the box and packaging. It fits nice and tight with no gaps, all holes lined up…I’d say Artwork knocked it...
Some of the most gnarly potholes I’ve seen have been in parking lots. Private owners aren’t exactly happy to pay for pavement work. Pay particular attention to any you cruise through with closed stores. I nearly fell into one that was in a closed Kohls lot while cutting through to an open Meijer lol
Installed the Artwork body shop V1 duckbill after work. Should have come from the factory like this, so much better than that “barely there” OEM lip.
Do you have anything else in your pocket with the fob? I’ve found these Acura fobs get “blocked” if you have a phone or a wallet (or other items) in there with them. I think it’s a known issue now that I’ve googled a bit.
If ya squint, it’s mint. I’m not a painter by any stretch, and I was doing this in my garage with touch up spray paint. Still, I think the PRP background with the gloss black a-mark looks WAY better than chrome on gloss black. Also finished my full Type-S debadge while I had the bumper down.
Got some Jogon Carbon bits for the interior. I hadn’t ever seen the red console, so I had to get it for a pop of color on the interior. Everything fit great, but I’m a little disappointed with the lower steering wheel trim piece, I wish it wrapped around more…you can still see a lot of the gray...
I’m hoping to find some vinyl that is a close match to the Performance Red Pearl paint on my Type S. I want to use some behind the front A mark so when I replace the chrome with black, it’s not a total washed out look. I did a black rear A mark and removed the black vinyl and love the pop that...
I googled the manufacturer and found it. Unfortunately, looks like it only comes in white.

I debadged the trunk and fenders, so these are for sale or trade. I am hoping to find a single gloss black Type-S badge for the grille. I’d trade all three for just the single badge, and also with the promise to send you the front one (for a complete set) if you want it after I replace it.
No...
Debadged the trunk and fenders, and added the gloss black rear A-mark without the black vinyl. I think it looks MUCH cleaner without the badges. I plan to add the illuminated front A-mark at some point. Enjoying 80 degrees in Cincinnati, finally!
I appreciate the ability to get feedback from folks that have actual experience with the mats. I’d never even heard of Tuxmats before I came on the forums. If I hadn’t looked for opinions, I would have wound up with the overpriced OEM mats or the technically great but aesthetically underwhelming...
I got the Type-S trunk liner, and I love it. I came from a truck that had a lot of storage in the back, so I usually carry a decent amount of stuff in the hatch all the time. Nothing sliding around, even without a net (though I’m going to get a net at some point just in case).
