Under 60mph literally makes no sense at all. As an FYI, 6th gear at 80 mph is right about 3,000 rpm. I get not wanting to redline it with 5 miles, but the rando speed limit is really unnecessary. Get the engine warmed up, drive it like a sane adult, and you will be just fine.
My tinfoil hat speaking here, but what’s stopping insurance companies from mandating you have your vehicle connected so they can obtain this data at some point? I could easily see some at least trying…
Seems like a bit of making a mountain out of a mole hill here. I’m curious, did the dealer disclose the mileage before they did the dealer trade for you? And is this dealer one you want to actually form a relationship with for service, etc.?
I just installed mine that were delivered earlier in the week. They have excellent coverage and were easy to install. The clips are quite genius to be honest.
I think it depends - if it’s 40 and dry you shouldn’t have any problems. I’ve had mine out in that and been just fine, although I’ve driven very carefully. I would be more nervous if there is moisture and it’s cold.
This car is a blast to drive and being from western New York, I expect it will be fine in winter once I get a set of proper snow tires and wheels. I think part of why you see some inventory buildup is anywhere that has a winter - well, it comes with PS4S tires and below 40 they aren’t great...
Thanks! And thanks for passing on it. Haha. I think my first choice was LCM but I really like the black. I love the PRP and the blue, but really wanted to be a bit under the radar with this car. I’ve already had folks on 219 come up beside me, slow down, go behind, zip ahead - it’s kind of crazy...
Absolutely no way I would let a valet drive my ITS. Had one park an older accord many years ago and they creased the fender which I didn’t see due to how late it was. Next morning was special seeing it and too late to do anything.
The HUD - this is my first vehicle with it and I love it. It’s just adjustable enough to make it exactly how you want it and displays IMO just the right amount of info.
