@optronix āAlso my car will randomly make loud scraping noises, sounds very suspiciously like the brake dust shield. They can be inexplicably random, and I've never been able to purposefully duplicate them. Total times I've noticed these types of noises I could count on one hand but I think it's...
I had a 2015 S4 that was a manual. I liked it. Had the sport diff. Was fun. Absolutely incredible in the winter with a proper set of winter tires. But there was something about it that I never got along with. Still kept it 3 years, but just never really connected with it for whatever reason. The...
Owned an SRT8 challenger with the 6.1 and to this day I still have moments of regret in getting rid of it years ago. I didnāt jump directly from the SRT to the ITS. SilverRocket hit a lot of great points in his analysis - it depends on what you think is fun. I had a zoomers exhaust on mine and I...
I have roughly 8,000 on my PS4S and will rotate them this spring once I swap them back on for the DWS06+ Iām running over the winter. Seems like for my particular use that rotating them when doing the swap each spring makes sense.
I have tuxmats on my type S. They are awesome. So good Iām contemplating getting a set for a different vehicle even though I already have weather techs on that one.
Not sure what fit issues youāve seen, but mine are perfect.
Itās a very easy process. When I installed my Mugen knob all I had to do was rotate the collar about 90 degrees and pull down. It came right down. Then I took the surround trim off, cut the zip tie, put a new acuity collar on, fresh zip tie, and installed the knob. Maybe 15 minutes.
Right - I have had vehicles with Nokian tires for a long time, both their dedicated winter tires and the āall weatherā. I just donāt know if OP wants a dedicated winter tire or an all season. I donāt drive my S in the winter that often as I have other options, so the Conti DWS 06+ serve me...
If you want a dedicated winter tire, you cannot beat Nokian. They are great in winter weather. For an all season, the continental DWS 06+ are very good.
I know there is at least one other in my area, but Iāve never seen it. The only time I have seen one is once closer to the eastern side of NY close to NYC and then when I met up with another owner in the Northern VA area.
The seats havenāt bothered be one bit and Iāve done a few long trips with my ITS. One was 6 hours one way and the others have been 10 hours one way. I would not mind a taller 6th gear but thatās a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. Even at 80 this car will get 28 mph. Thatās perfectly fine.
