Well “reservations” doesn’t indicate if it’s online or via a dealer. The signup process is the same as it was before.Interesting because I don't think Honda did that for the Civic's intro - a dealer wait list isn't the same as this online direct reservation/deposit system. Yes, Acura is a premium marque. I'm just wondering if Acura is trying to gauge demand after such a poor intro for the prototype. Does anyone know if they opened reservations for the regular (non TypeS) TLX ? The NSX TypeS reservations were certainly a surprise.
I don't know about the TLX but in recent memeory we knew alot more about the MDX type S when they opened reservations for it. I think the only thing we didn't know was the price of it.Interesting because I don't think Honda did that for the Civic's intro - a dealer wait list isn't the same as this online direct reservation/deposit system. did they actually take paid reservations for the mdx? They did this for the MDX S
MDX no, MDX Type S yes. It was a refundable $500 deposit.did they actually take paid reservations for the mdx?
I didn’t realize they did that. Do you happen to know when they dropped the specs for the MDX type S in relation to being able to place a deposit? Or were reservations taken prior to full spec release?MDX no, MDX Type S yes. It was a refundable $500 deposit.
Specs were released a couple months before the reservations. The MDX S was the first model to get it.I didn’t realize they did that. Judging how they posted this on Sunday out of all days and the media site doesn’t mention it we could hear something this week about the Integra’s official reveal date. Would be interesting to see what they have posted on the social apps on MondayJust called my local Acura AD.
Deposit submitted online which is routed to your nearest Acura dealership at which time they would submit an order for you. Still no information released to the dealers. Sounds like they’re getting the briefs the week of
