WHEEL WEIGHTS for 18in and optional 19in wheels?

Can anyone tell me the wheel weights for the following:

18x8/+50 Shark Grey A-spec Wheel: ?
19x8/+55 Optional Accessory Wheel: ?

I know for the 18's, the 235/40 ContiProContact tires are 23lbs/ea but I don't know the wheel/tire combo. Thanks.

30lbs is pretty heavy if that's the case

The 18s I’m guessing would be 27~28lbs while the 19s in the 30~31lbs range.

51.8 pounds. Confirmed this last weekend.

If we assume the OEM tires weight 23lbs, as per TireRack, then the rims are prob close to 28.8

Thanks for this. 28.8lbs for 18x8.0 wheels! There’s definite room for improvement with aftermarket wheels.

yup, if you're willing to stick w/ 18s, you can find wheels in the 19-22lbs range

for 19s, they go btwn 22-26lbs

I weighed my set at around 51 lb.

These are some damn heavy wheels. Getting something lighter like RPF1s would make a noticable difference.

Thanks for doing that SH. So you’re the second person to confirm the 18x8.0 with ContiProContact 235/40 18 is in the 50-50.8 range. Tires 23lbs/ea; Wheels 27.8lbs/ea.

I’m curious if anyone has the optional 19s.

IIRC the Accord Sport wheels are something like 31lb and the TLX A-Spec wheels are 33lb, so I'd expect the optional 19s to also be right around there (i.e. pretty damn heavy).

Wow 23lbs for the tire alone is crazy. I don't think I ever felt an 18" tire that heavy back when I was a tech. Sure truck tires and the big rim tires but not a 235/40R18 or anything close. If it was a 65 aspect ratio maybe.
