After reaching out to Axion industries and speaking with Aaron from PRL , decided to run the Cobra Cold air intake , its amazing. I thought about waiting for the HV intake that's in r&d and might eventually go that route but I'm extremely happy with the way it's all turned out.

Why bother having a tube that large when the MAF is just going to limit the air flow anyway? It's only going to flow as much air as the smallest part will allow.

EDIT: Looking at it again that broad piece is PART of the MAF housing? It may just be that its cheaper to use a wide tube then than to replace the housing then.

PRL developed it so I'm assuming they had a good reasoning for the design
