Anyone change their shift knob yet? I'm trying to pull down the boot but it won't budge. I've seen 11th gen Civic Si videos of the boot being pulled down easily. Not sure if the Integra is different.

You just pull it down and it unclips. Then you need a wrench to loosen the locknut at the bottom of the shift knob

Have you actually tried? Won't pull down for me and I tried with a lot of force.

I considered seeing if the weighted knob in my previous car would work but while I'd like the Integra knob to be larger it's so easy to shift it isn't needing more weight so I sold that knob along with that car last weekend.

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the shift knob on the CVT transmission?

Did you ever replace your shift knob, I’m having the exact same issue and can’t get the boot to pull down no matter what I try. Even tried trim pry tools, etc.

Nope. Won't budge. I haven't tried pry tools yet though.

I did mine. Had to get a good grip and popped it down.

Aren’t there east and west tabs under the ring under the boot that need to be pressed first?

I'm not positive, not that I've read about, seems like people are able to simply just push / pull down on it and it comes off. But I could be wrong!
