Should be getting my ITS in about 2 weeks. Looking at getting an 8 year 100k mile Acura Care Extended Warranty. Has anyone purchased the Acura Care extended warranty yet? 8 years is probably how long I will keep the car. If you did get the warranty (or a quote), can you please share the price and location? Thanks!

Dealer offer a warranty up to 10 year 150k miles. It was about $5500. I declined.

Thanks for the reply, but AcuraCare warranty only goes to 8 years. Was interested in the OEM warranty.

These cars already come with a 4year 50k and a 6year/70k power train.

Exactly. That's a pretty long powertrain warranty. I drove the K20 in my Si hard until over 136k and the only thing I needed to replace were some pulleys. I plan to decline any additional warranty... whenever my number comes up to actually get an ITS.

Did they offer you tire insurance, if so how much was that? Potholes have taken out 3 of my current 30 series tires in less than 3 years and 10k miles.. It's reasonable on the standard Acuras but assume it's outrageous on the DE5.

I know it was included in the $5k plan. By itself I think it was $1200 or something.

My local dealer offered a tire/wheel insurance package for $2400. Given that’s about what a replacement full set costs, I passed on it.

Thanks, $1200 is what I was seeing for the standard Acuras, and I think is borderline worth it. $2400 is what I was expecting and as you noted, not worth it IMO. For $2400 I can get a set of 18s so I don't have to worry about 30 profile tires :)

Yeah. Same thought I had about this. I'm probably throwing all seasons on and selling the PS4S

Got a 5 year wheel/tire road hazard service for $1200 and a 6 year dent repair service for $700 from my local dealer.
Declined on the 8yr extended warranty which was ~$2800.

Thanks. Got a quote from Curry Acura for 8 yr 100k $0 Deductible for $1406. They said all Integras are priced the same for the warranty.

I priced out a set of 18" winter wheels and tires on Tire Rack for $1600, and that's my current plan. In short, I agree for that insurancce price.

correct me if I’m wrong, these extended warranties are never worth it? There are so many things they don’t cover which are the items that normally break first. The items that are covered usually last much longer. On top of that there are so many ways people end up voiding warranties
