320 Horsepower Confirmed for Acura Integra Type S; Full Reveal Next Month

March 20, 2023

Acura today announced the highly-anticipated 2024 Integra Type S will launch this summer with an impressive 320 horsepower, 310 lb.-ft. of torque and class-leading power-to-weight ratio, taking Integra performance to its highest levels yet. With power derived from a race-proven, high-revving 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine and paired exclusively with a precise, short-throw 6-speed manual transmission, the Integra Type S promises ultimate street performance delivered with premium appointments.

Geared for a new generation of enthusiast drivers, the 2024 Integra Type S will be officially revealed next month ahead of the 48th annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

It does look like the color in the video is Tiger eye Pearl. Already saw a few negative posts about the 5 HP being pointless but I think it will help push the extra weight the Teg carries due to the extra options. I’ll take it.

I really want to see what the rear end cladding looks like. I wish it didn't have it and had the CTR body work

I agree. I wish it had the molded fenders. It always looks like a performance version with wide tire setup is such and afterthought with the stick on fender flares.
I'm still going to love this car, just small things to point out.

Does anyone know another vehicle that has cladding like this on their performance model? I guess the FK8 would be one.

I guess it doesn't look too bad. What's everyone's thoughts? Kinda disappointing with a more premium car having a cheaper factory solution then the CTR.

I will reserve my judgement until we see the entire car next month.
