Engine is built in the US and final assembly of the FL5 is in Japan. Similar to the FK8.

I'm hoping for a more traditional/softer seat than the CTR. I want something that I can sit fine in for a few hours with my bad back on a drive. I dont need some racer bucket seat in a luxury car. Its fine if its an option but I'd rather have the normal Integra seats with just a little more bolster.

I think the ITS will have leather (or at least leather with micro suede). Iā€™d be shocked if it didnā€™t honestly.

Heated seats, hopefully ventilated seats. No sunroof. Probably no heated steering wheel (I really like this on my TLX now that weā€™re in winter). Same door panel and center console design with maybe some slight material changes compared to the regular Integra (Iā€™m not a big fan of either on the regular Integra).

Is that worth what many are guessing will be near $50k price tag ($48k MSRP means youā€™re going to be around $52k OTD)? Iā€™m not certain.

For me, I got my ā€˜21 TLX A-Spec SH-AWD CPO for $42k. Trade in now is probably high 30ā€™s, which means Iā€™d be looking at ~$14-15k to ā€œupgradeā€ to an ITS (The TLX has a nicer interior, but a less usable rear seat and cargo area).

We need more official info from Acura, and I need to find out if my dealer is selling at MSRP, or is there ADM on it, which will be a hard pass for me.

Hoping we get some more info in the coming months, or they have the camoā€™d ITS at Sebring in March, where I can see it in person.

A prototype of the new 2024 Acura Integra Type S will make its North American debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway this weekend to the delight of IMSA fans and motorsport enthusiasts alike. Wearing a special ā€œType Sā€ camouflage wrap, the highly anticipated Acura Integra Type S will be displayed in the paddock of Floridaā€™s Daytona International Speedway throughout the race weekend and will serve as lead vehicle at the start of North Americaā€™s most prestigious sports car race.

The two Prototypes will be joined by two Acura NSX GT3 Evo22s racing in the GTD category.

For those of you that have seen the car in person, are the flared fenders all one piece? As in, the fender flares that look like they are added on are actually molded in the sheet metal to look that way or are they separate pieces added on? There is a definitive seam there, but with the wrap I canā€™t tell šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

The front fenders look like they are one piece molded that way, but itā€™s hard to tell with the rear quarters and the rear doors?

With the rear doors being flared out , I would expect the wheel flares to be molded into the sheet metal. If itā€™s tacked on it would not be a good look.

Looks tacked on unlike the CTR which has the flares integrated and therefore doors unique to it.

Maybe this means ITS will be cheaper than CTR o_O

Or maybe it's a prototype and the production model won't be a 100% clone. And also cost more than the CTR.

No way an Acura would cost less than a Honda.

I agree with the latter. On the other hand - in my area at least - my dealers are ā€œsayingā€ 10k markup on the CTR & that they havenā€™t marked up their Acura Type S models in the past yet. That would be estimated around the same price, heck, maybe even a few K less than the CTR due to the rarity/availability they say. I guess weā€™ll see soon enough when Acura releases pricing. šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø
