Hi All - I’m new to these forums and new owner of a 2026 Integra Type S. I picked her up this past weekend and only has 76 miles. On the drive home I’ve noticed the brake assembly, specifically the brake arm wiggles noticeably laterally (slightly left to right). I’ve first noticed it when my foot moves from the gas pedal to the brake and it accidentally hits the side of the brake pedal. Upon further inspection, I can move the entire brake arm slightly left and right with my hand.
Compared to the clutch and gas which are firm in place (no lateral wiggle).
The brake pedal is firm on the arm and doesn’t wiggle, but it’s the arm itself that moves left to right.
I’m coming from a VA STI and didn’t experience this, and also my other current cars. Not sure if this is a Acura/Honda thing and wanted to double check.
Is this normal for the type s? Does yours do this too?
Appreciate your help! Thanks!
