Illuminated front emblem color change?

I recently saw a post on another forum about their front emblem cover coming off, and i havent seen anyone actually change the color of the emblem before. By the look of the picture they attached, it seems like i could change the color of lights with tint or new bulbs or something. Does anyone have any advice on how this might be done? Im not the most mechanically advanced but i have friend who would be willing to help get it done if its at all possible
