Hey all! This exhaust has flown under the radar, I couldn't find a single mention of it on the forum, and in general little mention about it since no one made content for it it. We sent out one to a customer already, and this was our forst opportunity to install on a local customer's car so we made sure to capture everything!

We chatted about it at the end of the video. Mike has had it on the Highway a couple of times as well, and it's smooth sailing.

We've had the Q300 for the FK8, Si/A-spec, and now that this came out for DE5 we were eager to install one on a local Downpipe-equipped car. Mike put up his hand before we were going to add it to our car, and I was more than happy to supply it to him.

The R400 is the louder sibling to the Q300. It is alright with the stock downpipe, but has mild drone with a high-flow downpipe.

How does it compare to the awe? I had an fl5 with the tsp and awe and it droned pretty good but the valve control seems pretty awesome may be hitting you up. Loved the q300 on my subi’s.

Son has an Nvidia on his Si. It’s great. And my mechanic said it was one of the best aftermarket exhausts he’s seen construction wise.

What's with the rattle sound at around 10:40 in the video? Perhaps it's just the way it was captured but to my ear it almost sounds like the exhaust is vibrating more than it's exhausting. You can kind of hear it again at 12:55.

Otherwise sounds great and I'm very happy with my Q400 on my Si that I've had going on 4 years now.

I don't hear anything at the times you reference. Nothing at all out of the ordinary- and I'm listening on Sennheiser HD 650s through a FiiO E17 at 24-bit 96k Hz.

However I DID notice the wastegate rattle at 14:09. I know that sound all too well.

It's mentioned at least once in the video that no tip options are currently available.

It's still half the cost of many of the other options I was considering. My due diligence is the only thing standing in the way of buying this today.

I was checking because I'm listening to it with cellphone speakers. I'll only be home next Sunday to listen with a decent headset.

Just wanted to let everyone know I bought one. The free shipping sealed the deal.

Really the only drawback I can see is the tip selection and it might be a bit quieter than I would prefer- but I keep coming back to half the cost of the Borla/Apex'i that I was considering. Worth a shot, right?

I can hear it too. Sounds like the same issue some people have with the A'pexi. If i remember correct its something about how the spring sits when you install. There's a thread on civicxi.com about how to fix it real easy.
