Integra A Spec 6MT
Hi all, I am new here. I recently purchased a 2024 Integra A Spec, 6MT. It is very clean and has about 43k miles on it. Yesterday I noticed this light cracking (see photos). I am not super mechanically inclined. From what I looked up, this is the transmission case or bell housing? And my understanding is that it's common for there to be surface-level imperfections or flashing from the casting of this part.

Just thought some of you might be more familiar and give me some guidance on whether I should be concerned about this.

I appreciate any assistance.

looks like cast markings. My type S has similar and bought it with Zero miles... Along with every Toyota-Lexus trans I have owned... Unless it's been a wreck it's probably factory flashing that looks like cracks....

Thank you, that gives me some peace of mind. It has not been in a wreck and there's no damage in any of the surrounding parts. Much appreciated.
