Android Auto and steering wheel button

Hi All -
I can use AA with my smartphone and it works great - but when I press the "talk" button on the wheel it tries to launch Alexa vs Google (I can use the on screen button for Google just fine)

Am I missing something in settings where the wheel button will activate Google and not Alexa?

Press and hold. Or, just say "Ok Google," or "Hey Google."

I wish the Alexa thing could be removed

You may not have to even press the button, I'm able to activate google, but just saying "hey google"..
