  1. EFITBS service needed

I use shell. What I’ve seen on client cars is when they go to a mom n pops or Walmart/ Costco those cause issues. The BMW software can see the difference in octane levels and show us the quality of the last five fillups and average throughout the life of the car. I haven’t dug into Acura ecu...
  2. EFITBS service needed

I think the tech was just trying to upsell some BS that could not be disproved easily, any cleaner would work. The stuff we use on BMWs smells like pine cones. At any rate, injector should be covered under warranty for any problem such as stuck, inactive, always active, electrical short.
  3. EFITBS service needed

6400? Should be under warranty. Electronic fuel injection throttle body service. Contamination from? Direct port injector getting clogged from Costco fuel already? If it was clogged open you would have hard long cold starts, closed you would run lean. For peace of mind. Toss in some seafoam on...
  4. Negative ltft (-9%) after takeda momentum intake install

Let it run for a bit and relearn all the trims. The BMWs and Minis do the same thing. Worse when the fuel switches from summer to winter blend. We end up just resetting the engine and trans learned adaptations, car feels new, relearns new parameters.
  5. Negative ltft (-9%) after takeda momentum intake install

The LTFT is pulling 9% fuel, make sure you don’t have an air leak around the Mac or connections, as the car learns it will go down to. What are the stft? If they are wildly high or low then you definitely have a leak. Could be the learning phase after the change also.
