  1. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

Updating and closing out this post. I installed a 27Won cold air intake and everything fits beautifully with the upgraded radiator. On a 68 degree day IAT 5 degrees over ambient, air into engine (past intercooler) 3 degrees above ambient. (Via Hondata app) I was very impressed with the...
  2. Am I being scammed???+updates

Any other symptoms? Does your engine actually go in limp mode? What other upgrades do you have? If not, chances are you have a perfectly good car/engine. I would get the codes when going from the relatively cool coast (70ish F) to hot weather and high elevation (1000+ft above sea level, 90ish...

  4. Carbon fiber skinned center console

I wanted to share what an Integra with decided to install a carbon skinned OEM center console panel and it looks beautiful. The carbon fiber material encased in clearcoat appears to shift as you look at it from different angles. I previously had the center console trim wrapped in carbon fiber...
  5. The Tuned 5th Gen Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

L15 engines are a famous for having weak head gaskets. If you check out YouTube there are many postings about it. Here’s one where the guy shows you the weakest part. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Nick Ososik from theFOAT Media and he recommended two things. First was a linear tune...
  6. BadannLV Lower Engine Cover Lip & Plate

I recommend checking out the company’s website in the link provided in the thread. Reach out directly to the company if you don’t see what you’re looking for to see if the part fits the ITS.
  7. BadannLV Lower Engine Cover Lip & Plate

I recently came across aftermarket replacement parts for the DE4 Integra lower engine cover lid (front piece) and plate. This part looks good and also makes oil changes a breeze for the Integra, while potentially offering more security to the catalytic converter/ downpipe. This mod probably...
  8. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

Update on how I resolved the HVI issue: I reached out to PRL but have not heard back. The issue stems from the bracket that attaches the HVI box being at a 45 degree angle. I sent PRL the recommended fix and asked that they do not blow off enthusiasts that install aftermarket radiators. I...
  9. 1.5T 27Won Intake Snorkel Installed with PRL HVI

I recently picked up a 27Won Snorkel for a 2023 Integra A-Spec 6MT. I recently installed a RV6 Turbo and started to look into ways to drop inlet air temperatures (IATs). The Dozuki installation instructions were fairly accurate. Installation does require modification/grinding of the upper...
  10. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

I reached own to 27Won to see if they have a solution to my dilemma. They are in process of developing a HVI due out later this year (Q3/Q4). They said 50/50 chance of the larger radiator clearing. What impressed me more is their professional and sincere response. I looked into the specs of...
  11. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

So an update. I sent PRL photos of the issue with the HVI. They reminded me that an upgraded radiator is not a common mod. They recommended I install the HVI without the front bracket. The clips that hold the scoop and HVI keep breaking/popping out with the suggested mod. I went ahead and...
  12. The Tuned 5th Gen Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Vehicle: 2023 Integra A-Spec w/technology (manual). Total tuned time: 7 months. Tuned miles driven: 6,000. Tuning device(s) used: Hondata Flash Pro. Tunes used: Hondata race tune, Ososik custom tune. Fuel used: 91 octane. Additional related mods: PRL SRI, PRL Ti Inlet pipe, RV6 turbo, PRL...
  13. 2nd gear grind

I experienced the issue going into 2nd during stop and go traffic. I installed the hybrid racing short shifter assembly which provided a solid and positive shift into gear over stock. The upgrade is pricey, but the install is straight forward.
  14. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

The stock intake clears no problem. The issue is ultimately due to the bracket from PRL being as compact as possible and the scoop sloping down too aggressively. I should have took pictures on how sketchy it look when I tried shoehorning the PRL HVI, but didn’t.
  15. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

I’ll compare specs then go into the reviews. On CSF’s website, they make comparisons between what they are selling vs a CTR in the write up. The claim is that since their product is an improvement for CTRs, their radiator will be an even bigger improvement for FL1/DE4. This is what they show...
  16. Incompatibility with upgraded Koyo radiator and PRL High Volume Intake

I am no longer able to properly mount my PRL High Volume Intake after upgrading to a thicker radiator. I recently decided to get a Koyo High flow radiator. Although I don’t have heat issues, because I am moving to a hotter climate (desert), I was thinking about ways to help my Integra’s...
