  1. Undercarriage Pressure Washer - Worth the Money & Effort?

Hi everyone, During my visit to AutoZone yesterday, I stumbled upon an undercarriage pressure washing attachment for $50. I had never considered using such a tool before, but it got me thinking. Do y'all think this Is this a worthy investment? For some added context: I live in Indianapolis...
  2. Whistling/Subtle Metal Rubbing Noise when Coasting In Gear

Much thanks, Underdog, SeanIsElsewhere, and VictorOfHavoc. I'll look to see if Optronix has more to add based on my reply to his follow-up question, but until then, I'll dig through this FL5 thread. ?
  3. Whistling/Subtle Metal Rubbing Noise when Coasting In Gear

Hey Optronix, I have about 7,000 miles on the car, but I don't do much spirited driving except for hitting a local back road (probably no more than 1/2 mile worth of road) once a week or so. I don't mess with the VSA either. And yes RE: dealers--my expectations will be quite low.
  4. Whistling/Subtle Metal Rubbing Noise when Coasting In Gear

Hey everyone, My 2024 Integra Type S makes a high-pitch, whistling-like noise when I coast up to red lights or stop signs while in gear. The sound disppears when on the throttle (even slightly) or when I apply the brakes. I cannot tell where the sound is coming from. Also, I only hear it when...
  5. Help Deciding Between Vossen HF-5 and BBS RE-V7

Sir, without question, it is the BBS wheels. OMG, they're gonna be FIRE on that TEP Integra!
  6. The dirtiest spot

This is an intriguing approach; I am going to have to look into this a little more... But yeah, that spot get filthy...
  7. Summer tires, winter weather

Hey Type SSSHHH, Obviously, you have plenty of responses, but I'll throw my two cents in should you find my experiences useful. Hopefully, this isn't completely redundant for you. I also live in greater Cincinnati (Montgomery, to be specific), and my '24 ITS rides on 265/35 R18 Conti DWS06+...
  8. Heavy Metal Rattle - Off Throttle >4k RPMs

Mine also rattles above 4k RPM, but ON-throttle, not off-throttle. I can't quite tell where it's coming from other than somewhere underneath the dash. It seemed to pop up when the weather got warm...so maybe (but probably not) it'll subside once it gets cold again. Who knows... I need to take...
  9. How are you doing TPMS sensors with aftermarket wheels?

Similar to others here, I ordered OEM ones.
  10. Review: 2024 Acura Integra Type S - In Defense of the Type S

For what it's worth, an RS3 owner gave me a nod of approval as we passed on the highway a few weeks back. Obviously, he didn't have an RS5 specifically, but at least *some* Audi owners have an open mind...
  11. If you don't want to wrap the center console...

I will definitely have a look at this!! Thank you for sharing. ?
  12. Grateful to Become an Owner

Oh, I’m just messing with you, man. I know you love the OEM setup based off my last post, so I was just giving you a hard time. Glad to hear your honeymoon phase is still in full swing. This car is incredible.
  13. Grateful to Become an Owner

Very humbled and grateful to join this club and own a truly awesome piece of Honda/Acura machinery. Left the dealer on some Titan7 T-R10s and Conti DWS06+'s since it's already cold in the Midwest (Sorry, Optronix--please forgive me ;)). I plan to stay on these all year and save the OEM set up...
  14. Basic Question RE: Alignment

So, that's a "NO" as in "I do NOT need to have the car aligned when I put new tires/wheels on"?
  15. Basic Question RE: Alignment

Hey everyone, I expect to get an ITS soon, and I have some wheels/tires to put on the car for the winter. Is it wise (or a waste) to get the car aligned with the new tire/wheel package? I would think the car is already properly aligned off the showroom floor, but I am not sure if a new...
  16. Official Integra Type S waiting room

I am on a few waitlists across Indiana and Ohio for a white/red or blue/ebony unit. First dealer I worked with was in July (w/ Don Ayres in Fort Wayne, IN), but two weeks ago, I came across an available car in white (with red) at Hubler Acura in Indianapolis. They had a small markup (3% of...
  17. OEM Wheels: Any Concerns RE: Potholes?

Fair enough, Optronix. I haven't seen any evidence either, which was my main motivation for this post. I'm just reaching out to see what others have experienced, but I wish I would've caught those other posts regarding this issue. And to your point, 18s generally do look worse on this car from...
  18. OEM Wheels: Any Concerns RE: Potholes?

Let me try to add some clarity. I was under the impression that the 20" rims on the FK8 were easily damaged even when hitting small potholes such that many owners changed their wheel/tire package to avoid this issue. Maybe I misunderstood that issue? Anyway, by comparison, my '20 Civic Si...
  19. OEM Wheels: Any Concerns RE: Potholes?

Hey everyone, I wanted to know if any owners had issues with OEM wheels taking damage (e.g. dents) from potholes. Does anyone feel the wheel is extremely vulnerable to even a modest pothole? I know that was a big problem with FK8 Type Rs, but they were on 20” wheels compared to the lighter...
