  1. FL5 Sprint drop in filter.

A bit of an update. The K&N 33-2454 is what I installed. It is does in fact fit very well. It doesn't have the tab like the OEM one, but it is fine. The one on K&N's website that is recommended for the ITS is the 33-5139. It says it is like 14" long. I'm not sure if that is a mistake or...
  2. FL5 Sprint drop in filter.

I installed this and it seemed to fit very well. I was just searching today, and I see that the K&N Website actually lists this as the direct fit for the ITS: 33-5139 K&N REPLACEMENT AIR FILTER Which is a bit different dimensionally. Like 3" difference in outside length & 2" in outside...
  3. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

WILL USING A K&N® REPLACEMENT AIR FILTER VOID MY FACTORY WARRANTY No. In the United States, in order for the manufacturer of a warranted product to void or deny warranty coverage of a repair due to the use of an aftermarket part, the manufacturer must provide proof that the aftermarket part is...
  4. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

It is possible, but not likely. https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2014/06/can-an-aftermarket-part-void-my-car-warranty/index.htm https://apnews.com/article/business-lifestyle-ef4a559997828160601dcb7e8735712b " Included in the protections for reasonable use in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty...
  5. Tire size

What I have found for a 235/35 tire is acceptable rim range is 7.5-9.5"
  6. Tire size

Wow..you guys are all going wider for winter tires. I was thinking of going 235/35R19 because they are fairly affordable. I know that is just barely going to cover a 19x9.5" wheel. Do you think it is a mistake to go that narrow? Patrick
  7. Some love for the ITS

Totally. And, it can be driven around town like a regular civic, has a usable back seat, looks great, gets decent gas mileage.... And when you want to, you can go carving on twisty roads or just put it in Sport + and make cool exhaust noises! Patrick
  8. Some love for the ITS

Positivity thread. Now that the ITS has been widely publicized and people have seen the price, performance, looks, etc... I have seen a bunch of negativity around the web about how much it costs and it isn't even that great of a car. I firmly disagree. I don't think you can compare it to an...
  9. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

MDX K&N installed. Maybe a super minor increase in sound. If you have the radio off...you *might* be able to hear a little whoosh... Not bad for $65. Patrick
  10. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Cool. MDX airfilter fits? Wow nice find. Patrick
  11. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Wow. Interesting. It is pricey. I wonder if K&N is going to come out with one? Patrick
  12. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Wait...so a drop in air filter make a noticeable sound difference? Thanks, Patrick
  13. Post Your Firsthand Thoughts on Dealer Demo Integra Type-S

Yeah man I get it. I'm not slamming the opinion... I guess for me, there aren't a lot of better choices. M2 is not really that close in price. Most are $75K out the door. RS3 same deal. Both are quite a bit more car...but also quite a bit more $$$. ITS is not a perfect car. It would be...
  14. List of Honest Acura Dealerships For Type S (MSRP vs Markup List -- Integra Type S)

Today they told me 30 on the wait list. Patrick
  15. Post Your Firsthand Thoughts on Dealer Demo Integra Type-S

Interesting. Very negative take. I pick up my Demo very soon. I can't wait. I guess my question is what other new car is available that matches the ITS in terms of performance, manual transmission, features, reliability, and looks for less money? Even marked up with accessories that is a...
  16. How much did you pay for your Integra Type S?

Hey guys...new to the forum. I pick up my Type S next Friday (Demo with all accessories). Be aware that each dealer is charging their own price for the accessories. I.E. the wheels are not the same price at every dealer. I've seen a number of window stickers and accessory lists on the web...
