Does it do it around 4K rpm? I had a heater box rattle in a 2023 integra. I found it by revving it to 4K and having someone shake the heater core lines. When they shook the lines the noise went away. Something to check out since you said it went away when you were kicking around down there

Yes that will creek when you push on it in most cases. For Acura to do the service bulletin under warranty it would have to rattle while driving. All the bulletin is, is applying felt tape at the bottom corners of the display unit. The civics have the same issue.

That to me sounds like an issue with the blend door or the blend door actuator.

In my case I don’t think it was a part issue. I think it was an assembly issue.

number 9 is the heater core pipe retainer. they call it a stay. The top tab was broken off allowing the pipes to touch together.

Just want to update…i put the dash back in the 23 integra this afternoon with a new heater box, and heater core pipe retainer and the noise was gone. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.
