Yes, they replaced tank assembly, valve, and the filler neck and tested for leaks. None found. I got it back and put on about 100 miles with no issues thus far. Hope the filler neck fixed the issue on your end.
Possibly a dumb question. I don't see a spare for the 18 inch A-Spec rims available, although I want to have one in the trunk. Will the currently available spare tire 125/80R17 work for the 235/40R18 (just to get the car to a nearby tire shop)? Never had to buy a spare tire in the cars I own/ed.
Curious if your dealer will diagnose it as the same problem my dealer has (faulty valve) and gives you the same solution (order a new fuel tank assembly). If it's not, I think we should call them out on it.
I only filled up 2x so far and both times I used 93 at Shell gas station in central Tampa, FL area; I did not top it off more than 40 cents worth (~1/10th of a gallon). I don't think this emissions issue is caused by the quality in gasoline or by overfilling the tank. The dealer may be correct...
Only have ~530 miles on the car and had a "Check Engine" light come up displaying a Rev Match issue, while also displaying a message "Emissions system problem." It's fully stock and I have not driven the car too hard (which is a challenge of its own), although this is my first M/T and I am...
Appreciate you sharing the article. Integra still running on its first dealer filled tank, so will be filling up based on cost of fuel rather than octane. May try to use 93 from time to time (at Costco) to see if I feel any difference in performance.
Dealer said that 87 would be fine, but would get better performance and fuel efficiency out of 91 or higher. Not sure I trust the dealer so would definitely like to hear from unbiased sources.
Picked up my Integra on 6/10 and tried to upgrade my NFT at Acuraverse this morning (6/12). Put in VIN as asked and it shows “Your VIN is incorrect. Please review it.” I reviewed it and made sure it’s accurate several times (trying both lower case and capital letters) with no luck on getting...
