I like them on a Subaru or something. I had them on my Golf R but ultimately felt like they didn’t fit with the less is more design of the car. I don’t know if they belong on a FWD Acura but to each their own.
Ok you got me there. Lots of wild guesses were thrown out. If we’re saying the ITS is $52k, the FL5 is $45k, and next to nobody pays less than $50k. I am certain some argued that the ITS would be $45–46k.
I feel bad for all of the people that gave up on getting an FL5, saying the ITS would magically cost less than the Type R. The MSRP difference is basically the same as what it is between the SI and manual Integra. Not sure why that is too surprising.
Not great considering interest rates etc, but not surprising to me at all. Most people are paying more than this for the Type R. If you can get the ITS for MSRP, it could make more sense than paying markup for a Type R, depending on your needs/wants.
FL5 does have a wireless charger and wireless CarPlay, which I’m excited about. I think the other things justify a $4-5k premium over the CTR. Even if it’s $6k more, it’s going to be a steal over the FL5 if they are going at MSRP.
I’m stuck between the FL5 that I’ve been in line for which is coming in the Spring, or putting money down on a Type S without knowing the cost or timeline. Current plan is to keep the FL5 order for now even though the Type S is probably going to check a few more boxes for what I want. My Acura...
Maybe check out a 2018+ VW GTI. They are pretty solid and quiet for how small they are. I test drove a new Integra and ended up going with a Golf R instead. The Integra wasn’t bad, but it felt more like a Civic than I expected. The luxury bits are kind of a facade.
You’re not alone. I’m considering driving 3+ hours later this week to check out the nearest 6mt A Spec. Judging by the videos I’ve watched, I’m not sure how much quieter it actually is, but tires and maybe sound dampening would go a long way if needed.
After owning several Civics (and liking...
