Glad to see things picking up on the ITS sub. I thought it was goofy to have two subreddits for a niche car.
The folks over at the CTR sub are cool, but it’s nice to have a place of our own.
Glad I found this thread, I was about to ask the dealer is my seat was defective. Compared to my 10th gen SI and MK8 GTI, these seats do not get very hot or stay hot for very long.
Bit of a disappointment since heated seats are one of the things that sold me on the ITS over the CTR. Still happy...
I get why folks purchase it. I’ve just never budgeted into my purchase, so I’ve never had it installed. I’ve also never had a dealer ask about it when I was trading in. Heck last two cars I traded, they didn’t even ask to see the car prior.
Had mine less than a week. Eventually the sun will come out and I can get some better photos. I’m really surprised by how rare this color is. I suppose with it being the mature type r, they build more of the mature colors.
Regarding the CT4. The small size removed it from my consideration. I’m 6’5” and I fit perfectly fine up front, no chance for anyone to sit behind me. Pretty much the same story in my GTI. Truthfully, the only car I’ve owned that actually sat 4 was my 10th Gen civic.
The generous size of the...
I don’t track, but I lean into my stuff. I’m about an hour away from HWY-129/Deals Gap/the dragon so I would get good value from the performance. I love my GTI, but I don’t like the unreliability and how small the back seats and hatch area are.
I will say in terms of equipment and fit and...
For someone who has no interest in going to the track, would you recommend the integra?
It seems a lot of your frustration is the way the seats feel at the track. I’ve got an S2000 as a weekend car, so I feel like the CTR is a bit overkill. I really want an enjoyable sports sedan with a manual...
Did the civic si lag 1 year behind the regular civic on its recent face-lift?
Knowing my timing, I buy an ITS next month and they add ventilated seats and standard heated wheel for 2026 ?.
That’s my thing. The Golf R is lower in price and offers more premium features than the integra.
The $52k wouldn’t feel unreasonable if it had things like moonroof, ventilated seats and heated steering wheel.
I still think the Integra will sell well. Especially if it’s easier to get than a CTR.
I just noticed something in the press release from 2/14/22 where they are talking about pre-orders:
“Integra is the only vehicle in its segment to offer a six-speed manual transmission for unmatched premium performance, as well as the only liftback bodystyle to provide versatility at an...
It is really good value for money. I wish they built it as a Mazdaspeed with an independent rear suspension and a 6MT, but I understand why they didn’t. It still might be worth my time to test drive one, though.
Just saw that MDX-S reviews went up today on many websites. I’d imagine Acura wouldn’t take the spotlight away from that by releasing integra info at the same time?
I am going to continue to hold out hope for something impressive, that will make the integra a great value for the money.
At this phase I’m expanding my horizons:
GTI
GLI
WRX
Elantra N
All have things I don’t care for, but if a 200hp integra costs $36k for a 6MT and is slower than all the...
