  2. Fuel Survey

35 minutes? Way too long. The engine has a knock sensor, which will pull back the timing and protect the engine from knock, regardless of which fuel is used. Using premium fuel will allow the engine to run a little more timing, thus improving power and mpg, but the advantage will be minimal...
  3. 2023 Acura Integra Revealed + Full Specs + NFT Limited Edition - Reservations Open Today (3/10)!

Good article. The Integra strikes me as a great car. It's clearly NOT intended to be an all out performance vehicle, and that's okay. It's a really nice economical daily driver. Nothing wrong with that. People should accept it at that, and not cry about power and/or cutting edge low weight.
  4. Has anyone seen any Clues drop?

I'm not so sure. The Mazda 3 Turbo and GTI are 250hp. The Accord is a much larger car. Guess it depends on price too. If Honda pushes the price up to $40k they will need more HP, but then they won't get any sales anyway. My hope is for a nice running 2L turbo with a reasonable $35k price tag.
  5. Has anyone seen any Clues drop?

My wish is for a lower spec'ed 2L engine that makes in the range of 250 hp. Add in a nice auto of some sort, and keep the price down. I don't want an Integra that's R model competition, with a similar $40k price.
  6. Hondata tuned 1.5T 2022 Civic Si numbers!

Doesn't seem right since the new car is NOT faster in real world tests.
  7. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Yellow, yellow, yellow! Who GAF about yellow? It's just a publicity ploy. Honestly, I'm amazed by how many people care about about the color of a prototype vehicle. It's just paint, there will be various options to choose from when the vehicle hits the road.
  8. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

The reason they didn't show the proto interior is because it's not finalized. In other words, photos now wouldn't tell us much about the future production model.
  9. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

From my perspective...an ILX with the 201 hp engine with DTC transmission is very alluring. What's not is the old body underpinnings. I couldn't care less about the Integra heritage.
  10. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

So...$30K. What features will differentiate the new Integra from the Honda SI which is $2k less? The hatchback body adds some cost so there is that but what else? Will they bring back heated seats? Leather seats? Hoping they don't pile on cost just because the badge says Acura.
  11. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Give me a nice tech auto, quality interior materials, Bose sound, and I'll likely buy. My '17 EX-T is great to drive and I don't need much more in terms of power but the interior quality and audio system disappoints. Guys looking for an all out sports car at this price point don't know the...
  12. Looks like we know the base Integra engine specs

I've got a 2017 EX-T and the sound system sucks. I'd like to upgrade my car and one of the must haves is a better audio system. Regarding power, we have to remember than the Civic engine is 1.5 L. More boost means more power but there are limits. There are also a lot of underlying factors...
  13. Preview of 2023 Integra specs, pricing, design - from Acura Research Study

The ILX drivetrain was good. Slam that, or a 200 hp 1.5T, with DCT, in this new model and we have a winner.
