Is it possible you're not pushing in the clutch all the way to the floor? For example I've heard things like Tuxmats can get in the way of it going all the way down. I tried this morning to start with the clutch pushed most of the way in (but not all the way) and the e-brake did not disengage...
I own a 4-year-old lover of mud, snow, and sandboxes. He can make a mess of anything.
I'm also a clean freak with red carpet. TuxMats are essential for my sanity.
...options, and while I'm usually a sucker for the logoed OEM products whenever they're an option, the sheer amount of coverage you get with TuxMats put them in a different league from the OEM all-season mats (for about the same price).
The OEM mats do an adequate job of protecting the...
I completely agree. I have been getting nothing but compliments on my Tuxmats and the full coverage has been very helpful so far with Canadian winter weather. I loved the mats so much that I even went back and bought the cargo tray.
I`m not sure if its the same in the states but I also...
I think it depends on what your expectations for all weather mats are. The Tuxmats give much better coverage, especially "vertically". If you want good coverage up the sides, I wouldn't go for the OEM mats. If you're not too concerned with that, I'm sure the OEM all weathers are fine.
I will...
Tuxmats seem nice, but something about aftermarket floor mats reminds me of Pep Boys. Plus the OEM mats say Type S on them.
IMHO there's nothing wrong with the OEM mats.
...Parts department. Some will even match or beat online prices.
(For what it's worth, the OEM seatback protectors and cargo mat are great, but I'd get TuxMats over OEM all-season floor mats. The prices are similar, but TuxMat quality and coverage are both substantially higher, in my opinion.)
...instance or two where my heel slips off the back and I have to finish braking in a weird position. I haven't had much seat time and this could just be a learning curve with a new car but definitely going to swap to Tuxmats or Weathertech if it is my driving style.
Anyone else have that...
I got a set of TuxMats for my ITS with recommendation from The Savagegeease. The coverage is so big and perfect made me feel very comfortable bring snow into the car and not worry about cleaning. 100% recommend
I'm going to get the car on Saturday - so I'll know for sure soon enough - but in terms of ordering from Tuxmats - the Type S is the one "Without Rear USB Ports"? (Those are currently out of stock...) :-(
...can keep the carpets clear of salt.
I noticed that Costco Canada (not sure about US) sold "Phantom" all weather mats that looked eerily like Tuxmats, but about 10% cheaper. With a little digging, someone online said they are made by Tuxmats.
When I got them in the mail, the instructions all...
...track. Yeah the clutch pedal does rub on it but doesn't effect anything. I have had these in two cars totaling 25k miles, carpet underneath looks brand new when I swirched them over. I have never seen another set of mats cover as much as the tuxmats do. Also the pattern makes it look more...
Tried to install a set of Tuxmats today and they're complete garbage, I don't know what all the rage is about. The clutch pedal hits the mat. The back seat mat doesn't fit and interferes with the front seat tracks. The clips that go under the trim pieces fit on one side but not the other and are...
You’re welcome I’m sure you will be happy with the tuxmats . I was going to get them until I found these at $125 and heard they work well . Post a pic for others when you can . I’d like to see them also .
...considering the 3d Kagu mats but haven't seen pics of them in an Integra. Like you I'm not a big fan of all the grooves in most all weather mats. I thought the 3d Kagus had a nice clean look to them. I ended up going with Tuxmats, but would have gone with the 3d Kagus if I saw pics of them...
