Tough to say, but that's assuming the other dealership that allegedly has an allocation in your spec without a buyer actually has that allocation and it's not just a bluff, and that Acura will actually be able to fulfill it--until you have a VIN or the ability to see it in person, it's all...
A couple of things...
1. Don't use the NFT to gauge anything--it suggests your pre-order was one of the first 500 communicated to Acura by your dealership, and that's great, but it's a trinket. Acura never intended it to be viewed as a "place in line" or suggest that yours would be one of the...
My wife and I were driving today and spotted gas for only $3.44/gallon and it got us talking about standard/mid/premium and carbon buildup, and I mentioned the Serra podcast and the Integra needing premium. She was shocked I'd commit to another car that'd run best on premium, especially without...
Acura Columbus received build dates for 4 today, but mine isn't one of them, unfortunately--I ordered White/Red and they've got 3 Black/Black and 1 Blue/Orchid in this allotment.
I'm with Kirk Kreifels--it looks better from the back end, the front just seems a little bubbly to me. The prior generation looked a little tougher, but I remember it being based on the Fit platform, so I imagine this one will be an improvement with Civic guts.
You beat me to it! I just finished watching and found him somewhat less irritating than in some of his other reviews--Joe Raiti, on the other hand, is consistently irritating.
That said, no driving impressions, but a closer look at a few things that I liked--he folds the seats down...
This got an actual lol out of me--well played.
Though it does make me wonder... if the Integra/Si market adds a toddler or two on average over the next few years, might the hot hatch segment give way to a hot van segment? As a Honda/Acura loyalist, I'll be signing up for the Odyssey Type R...
Regarding an "adult Type R", fully agree--this redesign should be much more mature, and that's exactly what it'd take to get me to buy (at least with my wife's consent, as the FK8 seems to feature everything my wife hates in a performance-style vehicle). I could stomach a price up to $45,000 for...
Agreed--it's Circuit Edition or nothing with this Corolla. I'd expect limited production, and that MSRP is going to be hard to come by.
That said, the Civic Type R should be competitive in performance and price, and maybe easier to come by at/around MSRP. I haven't partaken in the Integra Type...
I read an article that said the estimated starting price might be around $30,000, then watched a couple videos on the Circuit Edition and found myself going, "THIS IS ONLY GOING TO BE $30,000!? Please, come take my money." Alas, both videos had guesstimates for MSRP on the Circuit Edition at...
Oh good, so before we get any meaningful driving impressions, we'll first learn how many Ding Dongs fit in the armrest, and the best method to stuff an unwrapped footlong meatball sub into each door compartment.
But don't get me wrong, y'all, I'm so excited to see a real review that I won't be...
While the Civic Hatchback has a 6MT option, it's not the same short-throw 6MT as the Si and Integra. The reviews liken the Hatchback's shifter to the 6MT that was phased out of the Accord, and it allegedly didn't feel that great. The Si's shifter is new for this year and should feel very similar...
I shared this on another thread, but I stumbled across this All Things Acura podcast this morning--the most interesting thing they brought up is a supposed breakdown of build priority from Acura. I didn't write down the specific percentages, but I believe I recall them being roughly 10% base...
I stumbled across this All Things Acura podcast this morning, and thought I'd share--the most interesting thing they brought up is a supposed breakdown of build priority from Acura. I didn't write down the specific percentages, but I believe I recall them being roughly 10% base model, 15% 6MT...
I do hope the Integra can use that same flat bottomed sport wheel that can be added on to the TLX--what do you think the chances are? And does that wheel feel as good as it looks?
I fully expect that spoiler will be over $1k if the TLX spoiler is a reference point, and I imagine the CF mirror caps will be over $500... but if the TLX's heated sport-style steering wheel is the heated steering option, you can definitely sign me up.
I ordered the Platinum White Pearl on Red with the 6MT, and felt incredibly lucky to find it was one of the very few preorder options since it was my end all be all #1 configuration.
I've been reluctantly sitting on a waiting list for a 2022 Si since December and digesting every bit of YouTube...
