FYI in the under dash fuse panel fuse # 13 is the only open slot one that goes hot with ignition on. The rest of the open slots are hot all the time ('25 type S). You can see the numbers on the right side of the fuses if you zoom in on this pic. The hard wire kit might have come with a fuse...
