Technically you don't have to remove the ECU. All you need to do is remove the 2 bolts on the ECU and push aside. Also if it's just a filter clean, just need to do loosen all the clamps, unbolt the filter box, and shimmy the whole box out.
Anyone have their door check squeaking already? Notice mine started to squeak around the second notch. Tried spraying white Lithium grease on the door hinges and the door check but pretty sure it's coming from the door check. Wanted to see if any other options before I replace it since it's...
Yeah, my main gripe as well. I like the design and the style but doesn't look too physically appealing when you want to let the struts do the work without guiding it. Kind of notice on the install video, he edited it out the bounce part.
I just recently installed the WOT hood struts and was wondering does it make your hood bounce when you let the damper lift the hood on it's own at the end. I assume since the dampers are smaller and the location where it's mounted might cause it but just curious if anyone see the same thing.
Thinking about picking this up as well. Any cons to it and how's has it been holding up? Can't really justify paying 3x the cost of PRL or Mishimoto when it basically looks the same.
anyone have issues closing the hood from just pushing it down? Was planning to do this mod but my hood takes significant amount of force just to close it and don't want to dent my hood in the process. Watching the vid posted, it looks like it didn't take that much force and normally I have to...
Selling Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter with probably about 1500 miles on it. This filter is non-oiled and reusable, just clean it with compress air and good to go. Perfect for those who want that extra "whoosh" noise but don't want to mess with aftermarket intake or deal with warranty issues...
they didn't do a good job on weave layout of their first batch of the front lip when I preorder it. Tried to ask for a replacement but they said they are backordered and will take awhile to fulfill a replacement. Wasn't too happy and was only offered very little partial credit.
Planning to do my rear brakes eventually, are you talking about this Method? Which his Method 1 showing doing the manual way? Seems to be the same style with older hondas without the EPB.
I notice his Method 2 using the scantool where he mention the screw wind back but the piston didn't. Did...
so finally had a chance to troubleshoot where my rattle was coming from the passenger side. It looks like was from seatbelt housing similar to video I posted.
Rattle
Added a piece of foam to stabilize the rattle. Gonna monitor it and hopefully that was the main culprit. Was getting annoying...
I notice now they have F kit with auto tilt module that is built in the mirror. Trying to look at the instructions on how the wiring process is for that but I don't see any indications where you have to tap into a reverse signal to indicate when the car is in reverse. Kind of curious how that works.
What kind of seatbelt rattle are you getting? I think I might be getting something similar to this.
I'm still trying to narrow down some of my rattles, if I tap the dash, I'm hearing some rattles from there as well.
You can do partial testing. I did to make sure I did the wiring correct and making sure the mirrors are folding correctly before I go any further. You don't have to disassemble the stock one to test, just unplug the stock and plug in the folding one.
