  1. List of Honest Acura Dealerships For Type S (MSRP vs Markup List -- Integra Type S)

The FL5 market is just crazy and I don't understand it. How is that they are listing an used FL5 for more than an average new in stock FL5 with $15k ADM? And they are not the only one doing that... I would be very curious to see how Type-S will impact the FL5 market.
  2. Ordering Integra Type S

My guess is between $45-46k + $1200 destination, since S3 starts $46.8k + destination. It's hard sell to price it above S3 IMO.
  3. 2024 Acura Integra Type S Walk Around and Look at 2.0L 4-cyl K20C1 Engine

My Infiniti has heated steering wheel and I only ever use it when it's really really cold. Mostly because I have to go into the infotainment system to turn it on and off, too much hassle. I think the Acura one is a simple button on the wheel? I would definitely used it more often if it was...
  4. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

Find another dealer. Everything points to May 11 online reservation being the key, not the dealer.
  5. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

I'm waiting for all those dealers to start calling me back and saying they are willing to take less ADM in about 3 months. I would very much enjoy telling them I already got a Type-R with better interior for less money. :D
  6. Ordering Integra Type S

What I read was that some OEMs to combat ADM are moving away from volume based allocation. Instead they are slowly giving more allocations to dealers that are selling at MSRP vs higher volume dealers that are doing markups in the same market.
  7. Ordering Integra Type S

Reading on the Integra Facebook group on the Type-S ordering rumors it seem like maybe Acura is putting dealers into different groups. Ones that get an initial "allocation" and can put in request for color combos and ones that don't get an initial "allocation". This allocation seem separate...
  8. Ordering Integra Type S

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear that Acura has a plan, not sure how well they can execute to it but at least they are not just letting it go wild wild west i guess. We have 4 Acura dealers in the area and I have contacted all of them about Type-S and only one of them has ask me for a color...
  9. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

Oh WOW, they are really prying on the uninformed consumers. Man that really sucks.
  10. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

I guess I'm one of the exceptions. Never owned a Honda product before, unless you count lawnmowers. :D I have always bought Japanese cars but the high-revving NA VTEC with FWD was never my thing. I'm looking for a practical (read hatchback) and turbo fun to drive daily driver, already have...
  11. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

Interesting, find it hard to believe that platinum white pearl is not in the initial production.
  12. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

As I said earlier, that 200 number is misleading. It's basically the number they will have at launch in early June. After that Acura will be making more per the order/reservation system. Don't let any dealer make you think that there will only be 200 Type-S around the country for the whole of...
  13. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

Maybe what Acura has revealed so far is the "base" Type-S. Both MDX and TLX have an upgraded package. And if you look at the difference between the Integra A-Spec and A-Spec + Tech package you actually see some of the missing items. Tech package on A-Spec adds stuff like powered passenger...
  14. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

I saw that on another post with the white one. My guess is plastic vs metal moulding cost difference. Another cost cutting move. I'm OK for all these cost cutting decisions as long as MSRP is reflective of that. As I said, above, differentiation between Type-R and ITS is getting pretty...
  15. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

The lack of memory seats and powered passenger seat bothers me. Not deal breakers but takes away from differentiation with Type R. One of the things I really like when I test drove the A-spec was the seats automatically moving back when you open the door. I’m guessing that’s gone with no...
  16. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

Guessing 3 production lines and what the 4 color combination each will handle. I think I saw a post earlier where a dealer said the first batch will be White/Red, Tiger Eye/Orchid and Apex Blue/Orchid. That seem to line up with this table. So 100 of each at the first wave of June launch...
  17. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

I think that number is a little misleading. My guess is that Acura is making 200/300 with the predetermined color combination for distribution for the June date first wave. The reservation system will then inform them what color combination orders to fill for the buyers. How many ITS Acura can...
  18. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

Great info! A little confused about TPMS though. How is that an accessory? Oh I think that’s required when getting the bronze wheels. Still weird that they will mount the original tires on the bronze wheel but make you buy new TPMS. The shift knob is probably the only one I would consider if...
  19. Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June

I waffle between if I like it or not, but I definitely get what you mean. It's a bit too gaudy I think. I would prefer Phoenix Yellow if they want to go all yellow.
