No issues for install and I don't notice any driving difference, but I am also still in break in.
I will say the best part of having the 15s in front is it creates an optical illusion. It looks like front and rear track are the same, even though front is still wider. Kind of like how people...
I 100% agree which is why it surprised me and why I ordered the springs regardless (FL5). Was told they were backordered but they arrived Saturday, only a couple days after I ordered.
Yeah, H&R have a more moderate .2" rake, think the big difference is the Eibachs have a full 1" front drop so looks way lower. Weird, I remember when anything less than a 2" drop was nothing, and now we are debating .2" LOL.
It's likely months out IF it comes out. When I asked for clarification, they said they might release DE5 specific springs, but they hadn't decided yet.
Has it ever been confirmed that the FL5 and DE5 have the same spring rates?
Depends on your state. I just moved mine over in CA and had to print out a PDF with some information on it and mail it in with a $15 check. Finding an envelope, a stamp, and a check were the hardest parts...
Uggh, that's all it is??? I removed the sides, but not the bottom. Does it look awful removed though? That's a big space to leave open without that cover. I can see were its rubbing, suppose I could trim it.
It looks like it's sitting on my weight bench while I find a body shop to do it... Even with help today it wouldn't go back on, can get it 95% there but that's it. Not worth doing more damage at this point. I knew body panels aren't my thing, but was told it's easy. Oh well, live and learn.
As a warning, if you can get someone else to do it, I would. That bumper is a nightmare to get back on correctly. Maybe the Acura techs screwed it up installing my black emblem, but it does not want to go back on correctly. I am never touching it again.
That's because it's a part, not an accessory. For some reason each one has it's own part #, although they should all be the same.

Yes, I swapped in the Aspec switch assembly and used the Auto Stop Start button to trigger a remote garage door opener I slid into the center console. The circuit board is the garage door opener, just open it up, test for what points need to be connected to complete the circuit, solder to those...
The two wires being used are from the Start Stop which isn't in use. So shouldn't be any voltage on them, but I didn't verify. The MLK harness works the same way, it taps into these 2 cables to trigger the auto start stop, it also connects to a third cable which I assume is for power, which I...
I got it working! The good news is you don't need the MLK harness, you just need the Aspec switch for $35 then tap into these two wires (pulled to the left). Make sure it's a tap, you need the cables connected or the parking brake will stop working for some reason.... Ignore the cable colors...
I am assuming the H&Rs have a lower spring rate, so more compliant ride. But that's just based on FL5 reviews, and even then most are running the older FK8 version.
