  1. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Unpopular opinion but I always thought the newer, bigger red badges give the impression of a clown's nose.
  2. List of Honest Acura Dealerships For Type S (MSRP vs Markup List -- Integra Type S)

Adding to the list: Massachusetts Acura of Boston - $5k ADM
  3. Test drove a new type s

It was actually a pretty short list, all cars had to be manual with 4 doors, fwd or awd. Used B8/8.5 Audi S4, used BMW 340i xdrive, Corolla GR, and of course the Integra Type S. Some deals popped up here and there on the used cars but I couldn't look past the reliability aspect and new car...
  4. Test drove a new type s

I do have one other local dealer that isn't charging ADM. I plan to get in their list as well. I really should have been in lists much earlier but I kept teetering between car choices...early bird gets the worm and whatnot.
  5. Test drove a new type s

I'm customer #31 at a high volume dealer in the NE and they're expecting roughly 2 a month for the 2024 year. I'll probably get my allocation sometime in 2025. I'm ok with waiting. I just...don't want to wait.
  6. what are your annoyances with your Integra Type S?

How does the shift action compare to the S2k? Dare I even ask; vs the Accord?
  7. what are your annoyances with your Integra Type S?

Again I don't think it's bad, just that it could use improvement for my preference. The preference being a *little* more tension. If I'm being totally honest, though, if I didn't have a reference point from the M2's pedal feel, I think the ITS would be absolutely fine. I chalk it up to one of...
  8. what are your annoyances with your Integra Type S?

Honestly I didn't think the pedal was bad, only that it could use some improvements. Now you got me looking into a whole CMC replacement and I don't even have the car yet lol. I did a clutch pedal upgrade, slave cylinder mod, and short shifter kit to my M2C a few weeks after taking it home...
  9. what are your annoyances with your Integra Type S?

The first thing I noticed with the ITS is that it felt similar to the Accord's pedal. Overall better, but similarly light and vague. Though it was small, there was also a slight delay on clutch take up. Instantly, I knew the clutch delay valve was the culprit. That will be one of the first mods...
  10. Engineering Explained ITS review: "among the best driver's cars sold today" [compared favorably to M2 and Type-R]

Coming from a previous generation M2, this pleases me because I lose nothing except rwd dynamics (this is actually a plus, given my use case) and I gain 2 extra doors.
  11. neuronbob's non-professional comments on ITS after ten days of ownership

For a time, I had a TL-S manual share a driveway space with my 6-6 Accord. TL-S was surprisingly light on its feet even compared to the Accord which was roughly 270 lbs less car. The LSD and suspension upgrades were a game changer, not to mention the bump in power. What I look forward to with...
  12. What cars do you currently own besides the ATS?

Don't (yet) have an Integra but currently in the stable is the rowdy M2C and my trusty 6-6 Accord. Sadly, the Accord will be replaced. Fortunately, it will be replaced by the ITS.
  13. Too Old For ITS?

My recent test drive in the Integra had me, for a split second, contemplating a trade with the M2C but cooler heads prevailed. I remembered I'd be adding to the fleet, not reducing it lol.
  14. 2024 Integra Type S Officially Announced! + First Drive Reviews Inside!

Can one reliably make use of that much power on this platform? I'm sure the engine is capable but the chassis and layout seem to be the limiting factor. Sounds like an exercise in futility. @optronix I'm lucky because the dealer I visited is a pleasant, no frills, enthusiast-centric one. We...
  15. Too Old For ITS?

I would need to refer to the manual but I believe there are no age restrictions to the Type S. Or any car for that matter. Enjoy your new ITS! For what it's worth, the below car is owned by a 55 year old gentlemen.
  16. 2024 Integra Type S Officially Announced! + First Drive Reviews Inside!

Got to demo this interesting specimen today. I walked away thoroughly impressed, conviction tempered, and name waitlisted. Granted, I'm still kind of in a haze from the ride a few hours ago but it's definitely a car that absolutely needs to be experienced and I feel the MSRP is justified once...
  17. Not so smooth shifting feeling

I just got back from my demo drive and I'm not feeling any of the "bump" or clunkiness you're mentioning @edido. Typical *snick snick* Honda from gate to gate (and I shift like an anemic senior). Even on aggressive shifts, smooth as butter. Hopefully you can bring yours in to be checked out...
  18. PRP Photos Appreciation Thread

I just happened to see a freshly detailed TLX-S PMC edition in Curva Red today. I've yet to see PRP in person. I'm not a fan of red cars but this color of starting to grow on me!
  19. Not so smooth shifting feeling

I'm going to test drive a demo ITS tomorrow afternoon. I'll be sure to note the shift action (I plan to anyway) and report back.
  20. Installing mesh in lower grill /intake to protect intercooler?

I've done it on my current car and I plan to do it to the ITS also. I think it looks great! Plus no errant debris or rocks. No noticeable performance issues either.
