  1. FS: OEM Wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires and TPMS

One session on the front set, two on the rear. They aren't heat cycled and weren't daily driven. One could easily get another full season out of them.
  2. FS: OEM Wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires and TPMS

I recently sold my ITS so I'm selling my track wheels. OEM wheels + Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and TPMS. Zero curb rash and tires have plenty of life left, as they weren't daily driven. $1500 OBO for everything. I'll even throw in a spare Cup 2 tire with the sale. I'm in Northern...
  3. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

This is awesome man. I'll have to shoot you my contact info. I'd love to join you guys for the next track day.
  4. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

Awesome! I experienced the same fate in my afternoon sessions. I made a few more 2:16 runs but the warmer it got, the more time I started to lose. Wish I could have made it out for the TSCC event. I'll for sure be at the next Ken Kirkham event (my personal fav run group) in October and...
  5. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

Be safe out there and break that 2:20 barrier!
  6. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

Just got back not long ago. The track was pretty wet for a while today but dried out a bit and I was right back at 2:16-2:18 for the rest of the day. I loaded up early and left so I missed a few sessions, but didn't wanna start making mistakes because I was already tired and wanted to tow the...
  7. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

I haven't been here in forever but I'm at VIR today and tomorrow. So far, PB was 2:16.90 on the full course. 120 MPH up the esses in both the CTR and ITS requires balls of steel but I managed to do it. Scary but as long as you hit the gators, you'll stay on. Just don't lift when you get to...
  8. VIR on Monday

Lots of great info in this thread and I'm just taking it all in. As we all get more track time at a lot of these places, we probably should create a sticky for that track and some lessons learned.
  9. VIR on Monday

I'm running with the rear windows up but front windows down. Thanks for that tip! I'll definitely do that on my next track day.
  10. VIR on Monday

The Grand Course seems to just kill my momentum after the back straight headed into T13. It just feels like a buzz kill. The full course requires some braking after the back straight but I still maintain some speed before getting back to the front straight. It just keeps the momentum and...
  11. VIR on Monday

I really gotta get better at responding. I'm so used to being on Reddit and FB. At any rate, I had a blast at VIR on Monday. I trailered* my car down there, which worked out as I saved some hotel room money and slept in my tow vehicle / conversion van. My best time was 2:17 on the full...
  12. VIR on Monday

I haven't had much time to post lately but I'm headed by to VIR on Monday but this time I'll be on the full course instead of the Grand. I've ditched my Pilot Sport 4S tires for Cup 2's so I'm looking forward to being able to get more hot laps in compared to the OEM tires. The stock PS4S's are...
  13. Any ISSUES with lowering springs on track??

Sorry to bump up this thread but it's been a while. I'm considering springs as well but have decided to keep the stock height for now until more data is available, and we see what comes out of the HRC catalog.
  14. Track suspension setup

I think I may be able to swing both if my work schedule permits. I'll make a separate thread for both events to see if we can garner some interest. The Trackdaze event should be a good one, and the weather will likely be better since it's late October.
  15. Track suspension setup

Lots of good discussion here and I'm soaking it all in. btrip, awesome that you were able to get your car dialed in! For the east coast guys, if we can get enough of us together, I'd love to put something together for a track event. We could crash Ken Kirkham's Track Days at VIR in October...
  16. Track suspension setup

I don't have much to offer as it relates to OP's situation, but I can't help but echo what optronix said above. Trying to morph the ITS into a track monster is an exercise in futility, as the car is setup pretty well out the box anyway. The moment you start adding aftermarket parts, you...
  17. Road Atlanta Track Days Fun Run

**PFA** I'll be at Road Atlanta on 26 June for Ken Kirkham's Track Days Fun Run if anyone's interested. The event runs for two days but unfortunately, I can't make it on the 25th. I haven't been to Ken Kirkham events in the past but I've heard nothing but good things about them, so I'm sure...
  18. Clutch in to start. - Question.

I thought about this story when I read your post.
  19. 2025 Civic goes hybrid - No 1.5 turbo or manual trans

Good news for the Civic, better news for the Integra since Acura desperately needs a hybrid model again and as a Prelude fan, hopefully a preview of the upcoming Prelude powerplant. Also, if the Prelude base powertrain is the same as the Civic Hybrid, it leaves some hope that a sportier...
  20. Should I buy the 2024 ITS now? Or wait til they announce/release 2025 models?

If there are no changes for 2025, then I would expect little to no discounts, as there would be no reason to if it's essentially the same car separated by a model year. The best time to buy was yesterday, the second best time is today. There's always tomorrow, but you don't know what tomorrow...
