  1. Adjustable Mesh grill for intercooler

Mesh also blocks less airflow. This kit looks like it will block anywhere from 20 to 30% of airflow. Several people have already complained a bigger intercooler blocks radiator airflow and causes high water temp in high performance driving situations. I imagine reducing airflow with more grill...
  2. Windshield replacement is very expensive.

It passed cpo check with an aftermarket, unwarrantable windshield? How? The windshield is part of the safety system... ?‍?
  3. Winter Wheels/Tires

Speaking of, my winters just came in. Never thought I'd be looking at a 255/40 and saying to myself "look at all this sidewall I get!" ?? If you don't know who Giugiaro is, look him up. He's made some of the most beautiful automotive designs, and a master of wholistic design concepts.
  4. Winter Wheels/Tires

They are no stud less ice and snow tire, but they're very comparable to other performance winter tires, splitting hairs by a foot or two. I've hit black ice on them a few times, and yes you can feel that you're on ice, but the traction feel is consistent so as it slips and regains traction...
  5. Winter Wheels/Tires

Are you running the series 2 or 3 sotto? I haven't run a sotto since the series ii several years back and it was pretty good. OP, I'm in kc south of Chicagoland so I don't get the random blizzard as much as you guys, but my main concern is potholes and ice. I have some vredstein wintrac pro...
  6. G4werkz Front lip Senna GTv1

If the final resolution is to their satisfaction, who are we to judge?
  7. TPMS Sensors

Had i thought about it, the shank just screws on so it would be really easy to paint it yourself to match. Clear coat for toughness and give it two days to cure fully. Should be solid.
  8. Grinding/Abrasive Noise while foot off Gas pedal

There's a big vent on the hood of the De5 and FL5. That's going to be certainly much louder than not having it and having some hood insulation.
  9. Blind spot monitoring - overly conservative and useless

Conservative? I find mine to be too aggressive. At 70mph it turns off when I'm only 2 or so car lengths ahead. The average vehicle can do 0.7g average in braking, and that takes something like 230ft to stop from 70mph assuming 0s for the other drivers reaction. For every 1s of reaction, the...
  10. Grinding/Abrasive Noise while foot off Gas pedal

That's about spot on for first time doing it. Once you stop caring about being as careful (when you're sitting there swapping in paddock) you'll go much faster, too ?. No need to take out pads, just undo the caliper bolts, then shake that mofo violently and pull it off ?. Just make sure you're...
  11. Grinding/Abrasive Noise while foot off Gas pedal

True story! On my gti the difference in post session paddock temp went from over 750F to roughly 600F or so by moving to no dust shield and adding a brake deflector. That means the temp difference on track was even larger!
  12. Help - Parts expertise

Yeah, and even worse, when dealer stuck the first replacement on, they did it crooked, so I made them order another new one ?
  13. Help - Parts expertise

Here's the dealer note for it.
  14. Help - Parts expertise

I had to have my fender pieces replaced by the dealer because one of mine was peeling off from the factory at 80mi on the odo. They do come prepainted with very strong and thin tape pretaped. I believe the official acura term for this part is "garnish" when you're searching. The mudguard...
  15. G4werkz Front lip Senna GTv1

You should tell them that due to the extended refund time and holding onto your money far longer than is reasonably acceptable, you must charge them a 200$ fee. ?
  16. VIR on Monday

I notice you have numbers on the rear window. Are you running with the rear windows fully up? If so, you might find quite a bit of high speed stability by rolling them down. With them up, you're essentially a parachute at higher speeds causing some lift and crosswinds can really knock you around.
  17. Grinding/Abrasive Noise while foot off Gas pedal

Just take off the heat/dust shield and wrap any cables and sensors with high temp tape you can buy at autozone or elsewhere. You'll get more dust in the wheel well, but you'll get less dust on your wheels ?
  18. Windshield washer sensor

Yeah, tiny tank. I've put 2 gallons in the trunk now. I suddenly understand what that pocket with netting in the trunk is for!! Your spare gallon of fluid ?
  19. Back on Track

See your dent definitely looks impact related! The telltale sign is the edge of the dent near the crease. That takes a good amount of force to dent like that. Mine are in areas and with shapes that you'd expect out of light force like hail, but strangely all directional and zero sign of...
  20. Back on Track

? What has been seen cannot be unseen... Now that I have been on the lookout for it, I have seen a large number of civics and accords with identical dents. Not really that many Integra that I spot around compared to Honda so the view is a bit narrow, but at this point I would anecdotally gauge...
