Thank you bro, I have a friend that has an experience snap on scanner I’ll see when he’ll be available to connect it and check it out, I’ll get back with you on the results
I did put a smoke machine from the maf housing and left it on for a while I didn't see any leaks except for the tinyyy...
Today I did the idle relearn, removed the catch can, cleaned the maf sensor I even reflashed it back to stock for a bit and nothing changed whatsoever..
I’m at the point where I want to remove my injectors to go get them cleaned but I don’t want to spend any more money on this “guessing” game...
How do i perform the idle re-learn? I reallyy hope it’s as simple as that!
and I did use a smoke machine to check for vacuum leaks and I didn’t see any smoke anywhere except for the catch can hoses that got brittle, which I replaced but now I’m going to remove the catch can entirely, everyone...
I just have the hondata e85 base tune, you really think it’s the tune? I was driving with no issues until recently it started doing that when I installed intake, charge pipes, intercooler. That’s why I thought it was a vacuum leak, I’ll ask him hopefully he has some insight
I’ve been tryna find what is causing this issue for the longest with no luck! Car has rough idle, and start ups. I’ll attach a video
It also throws misfire codes on start up. The problem is more noticeable on pump gas and e-mix compared to straight e85, pretty much on only ethanol the idle is...
update, that was quick but it’s still throwing misfire codes but now I can hear it thru the exhaust that it misfires randomly(very faintly) I’ll try to upload a video with the sound of exhaust, only on idle is when I can notice it. This is so weird
Alright, quick update
I just re-gapped my spark plugs to .020 it now starts up strong like before, but time will tell I’ll let you guys know as time goes by. If you guys have more insight feel free to share it
I was thinking that too, I know it’s not as likely with only 25k miles, I have a friend that has a Dc2 integra runnning on e85 and he doesn’t have to replace plugs that often. But I’ll ask a tuner what spark plug gap I should be running, I hope it’s as simple as that. I might just end up putting...
Sometimes it happens when the car is already warmed up, but it’s not always all 4 cylinders, sometimes it only turns cylinder 1 or sometimes it turns a couple of cylinders. This time it turned on all 4 but doesn’t do that all the time, it’s so weird
Ok so I’m having this weird issue I hope someone can shine a light on what’s causing it, hopefully someone that has had this issue before and fixed it.
I’m going to start off with mods list 2024 ITS with 25k miles
•catless downpipe
•PRL high flow intake
•PRL intercooler
•PRL charge pipes...
I meant in the hondata base tune options, there’s two options and I’m not sure what the difference is.. one says 49 state e80 and the other one just says e80
I’ve seen the light when it’s really spinning with 0 traction, I’m going to have to drive it again and see, I only take it out on the weekend..but hey that’s a good reason for me to take it out in the weekday lmao
I have a Type S with a jailbroken ECU and flashpro, these are my mods; PRL intake, catless DP, PRL intercooler, CANflex fuel kit from hondata, PRL turbo inlet charge pipes
this happens often where I’m doing a pull, 1st and 2nd gear kind of hits a boost cut or that’s what it feels like that’s...
