I'm pretty excited to dig into the software and see what kind of changes can be made.
I want to see if it possible to have the car behave differently whether I'm braking in a straight line or braking while turning. Specifically thinking about when I brake in a straight line before turn one at...
Got around to securing some side bolsters using a combination of Velcro straps and double sided tape. I might still get some custom upholstery or Fl5 seats in the future but we'll see if this works for now.
Reads like a love letter to the ITS and matches with my beliefs that the ITS is an excellent road trip and fun car combo.

One of the things that the Fl5 has that the DE5 doesn't have is a digital shift light so I decided to put one in. It's just so hard to hear turbo engines and it also scratched my ricerboi itch. Excuse the misalignment, I was still testing out the lights when I took this picture.
Good to hear! I can't wait. Also for the future, I found this article on motoriq that might be useful

👍 It definitely added a little texture to the steering for me but it wasn't a game changer (which makes sense). But any additional communication from the steering wheel is better than nothing.
I ordered these:

At the time, they said that it was only for the fk8 but they were cheap...
I ordered them in September 2024 and received them on June of 2025. :/ I think I was originally quoted March but then because of tariffs and other silliness, I didn't get them until June. Ordered from icbmotorsport
Some updates.
Finally, finally, got my 5mm spacers on. I bought 18x9.5 +45 Regamasters and I didn't like the offset so I tried to add spacers. Unfortunately, because the Regamasters use hub-centric rings, regular spacers didn't work. After doing some research, I ended up buying BMW 5x120...
There's definitely an FL5 running those wheels. If you scroll halfway down, you'll see the picture (or you can search for FR10)

Finally put some Acura stickers on my Regamasters. Its the small touches! I still haven't installed spacers yet because the first spacers that I got interfered with the hub centric rings but hopefully the new ones that I ordered will fit.

I was really hoping that the ITS would break the fwd record but this year's pikes peak was limited to two sections because of high winds. Hopefully they attempt to break it again next year!
I definitely see that. Desmond made these wheels for Spoon (Spoon rebranded these as SW388) and then were copied by Rota as Rota Slipstreams and then everyone and their moms drove this wheel design back in the day.
I'll update my build page with more pics once I get these wheels ceramic...
Finally got my wheels from Japan (it took 8 months). I didn't get a chance to put the stickers on or ceramic coat them yet so here's just a sneak peak.
