Iāve toyed with the ideaā¦ I had black chrome accents on my accord and really liked it. I am currently dealing with the same issue on my Legacy - for years I had wheels with a machined face, and figured Iād try an anthracite wheel for a change. Nope! Hated it! Shipping them back to Tire Rack for...
Guys, I am realizing I donāt really love the black wheels I put on my car. Iām new to owning a white car and thought it would look good to do the black/white combo, but the wheels get lost in the mix. Maybe I need to just live with it a while longer, but Iāve been daydreaming about the Apex EC7...
I was also surprised to learn this from my PDR guy, having seen your experience documented here. However I also watched the branch fall on my car and I was shocked that the damage was as limited as it was. Iāll try to get more technical info out of him when I pick the car upā¦ panel thickness...
Missing my ITSā¦ itās been in the PDR shop since the beginning of December after a large branch fell squarely on the roof while parked in my driveway. Had a large dent where the A pillar wraps into the roof rail, and a much deeper one near the antenna.
The repair involves removing the entire...
LSM Type S heading through Providence, RI on 95 southbound, around 5:45am today. Was driving a different vehicle this, but Iāve pulled up next to you before in my ITS. You on here?
I thought I saw video of someone opening that plate on the inlet pipe to reveal it's strictly a Helmholtz resonator. It is unfortunate that it's so damn close to the heat shield, and I think you're right on that an aftermarket pipe will open up a much needed thermal break.
Welp it looks like this is something I should expect to address in the next year or so.
Seems like Paragon pads are a pretty popular replacement on this platform. Are those of you with P2 or P3 pads pretty happy with your choice, for street driving?
This intake certainly looks amazing in photos. Iād be hard pressed to justify the expense but can appreciate those who came to a different conclusion.
Itās funny - now that Iām driving the Integra daily, it makes me want to dial back the modifications on my Subaru. The intake and the exhaust...
Iāve seen a few other people mention needing to replace the rear pads at or under 20k miles. however at only 10k, and with warped rotorsā¦? That certainly seems excessive assuming this car is being street driven at reasonable levels.
Finally had a free Saturday to work on the car. I installed my new wheels and, and did my first oil change @ 1,225mi.
Wheels are OZ Leggera in 19x9.5 e51, wearing 275/30 DWS06+ tires. The combo weighed ~46.2lbs. Edit: my stock wheel/tire combo came in at 51.0lbs, so this is a wider tire with a...
Finally had a free Saturday to work on the car. I installed my new wheels and all seasons, and did my first oil change.

Did my first oil change as well. Took 5.5qts to show full on the dipstick, with the engine warmed up. I installed a Fumoto F106SX valve - there was tons of room to position it how I liked.
I noticed it being very conservative at highway speeds however I think it is helpful on the off chance someone is approaching at a high speed. Now I just kind of factor it in and use it as a cue to double check my mirrors. My ā19 Accord only beeped if someone was right there, so itās taking some...
Sorry you guys are having to deal with this. Iām not too familiar with CF - would having the spoiler clear coated protect or remedy this? It seems like the failure is under the surface. Would an opaque wrap or paint better prevent UV from attacking the resin?
